I would feel safe with using these gloves for occasional handling of hot objects. They wouldn't protect for extended contact with a hot surface, but they're pretty sturdy.

Do you know how to get in contact with the manufacturer of these gloves? The fingers always tear on me.

Small General Purpose Work Gloves is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 602.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gloves for the price that I have found. These gloves are just slightly different from the previous batch I bought a year or two ago, but not so it matters. I use the XL size. They seem tight at first, specially the thumb. But they soon stretch to perfect fit. I've tried many different gloves, and these are perfectly good, at only ten bucks. They come out just fine after washing in a regular washing machine. I take them on and off rather often, so I clip off the velcro wrist strap. The gloves stay on my hands just fine without the strap. Bonus tip: I also cut away the stitches on the corresponding velcro patch and remove that, so various fabrics like shop rags don't catch on that. Easy to do with a razor blade or tiny scissors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protective work gloves These gloves have small size to fit my hands and padding to protect the palm. Fabic back gives hand flexibility and reinforced fingers enabled a lot of rough or dirt work. Not recommended for working with wet dirt as moisture get through pretty quickly. Solid gloves for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for day to day This is my 2nd pair of these gloves. I specially looked for them as I really liked the first pair. Good for day to day to protect from grime, slivers, etc -yet have good tactile use of my fingers. Not insulated but don't need that this time of year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "FG" firm grip gloves unlike some of the less expensive these come in sizes, pleasing texture and (for the thickness) very durable. while not made for wet working conditions they dry well and retain/regain supelness easily using them for years an excellent value

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hot, Tough Glove This reinforced glove works well for brush removal with the leather reinforcements giving extra protection from multifora rose spines. These thicker gloves are not vented, so the hands get a little warm wearing them in hot weather.....

I'm on my third pair of these gloves because they fit well, are comfortable and inexpensive. The first pair I lost a glove, but don't recall any problems. The second pair ripped a hole in the leather of one finger so I bought a third pair. They started falling apart after a few hours of chopping firewood. The electronic compatible coating disintegrated quickly just from handing logs - I assume rubbed off from the bark. While comfortable and inexpensive, I'll not buy them again since they just don't hold up doing any kind of work that requires a work glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and breathes well I use these while working on the car, unless I'm working directly with fluids. They are comfortable, padded well enough for turning wrenches, and they breath well enough keeping your hands from getting too hot or sweaty. I would normally get a large size, but I got medium on purpose so that I would have a better chance picking up washers off the workbench or floor. The fingertip touch pads for screen use work well. I've worn them for about 12 hours total, so far, and they show no signs of coming apart. They seem to be worth the $10 I paid for them.

I bought these gloves primarily to keep my hands off the cold steering wheel while driving in the Minnesota winter. No complaints on that as of yet. I have one negative comment, they are not water resistant. I was wearing them last Sunday, after a small accumulation of snow, while cutting down and bucking a tree that had been blown over onto my shed. The wet snow went right through them. Now this does not effect their ability as a work glove, but my hands were getting way too cold and I had to remove them. Otherwise they have been great so far.
