Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product for the price We have had this detector for over a year and we haven't had a single problem. Only once did it go off while cooking and that was while we were using the broiler. All in all for an inexpensive detector it does the trick for us. March 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Reliable and long battery life I've had this smoke detector (or maybe it's a very, very similar model from the same manufacturer) for about 15 years now. It did go off once when I burned dinner pretty badly on the stove, but apart from that, no false alarms. It goes through a set of batteries about once every 5 years, which is shocking to me, but it's saved me lots of money over the years. Would definitely buy again if I ever need to. At this point, though, I'd expect it to last me at least another 10 years. June 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by You get what you pay for I just ordered new smoke detectors to replace these. These things are annoying. They go off every time we cook even when nothing is getting burned. They chirp all the time even when the battery is still good. Basically they are garbage. March 24, 2013
