Product Overview

First Nature Lantern Style Bird Bath and Waterer. Providing a fresh supply of water is every birder's concern. First Nature's Bird Waterer and Birdbath features a durable water reservoir that holds over 100 ounces of water, then releases it into four separate drinking pools on demand. The First Nature Bird Waterer and Birdbath can be mounted on a 4 in. x 4 in. post or can be hung with a chain (not included) and "S" hook. Simply remove the water reservoir and fill it with fresh cool water. In between fillings, both the reservoir and the drinking pools can be washed with warm soapy water. As the birds bathe in or consume the water, it's instantly replenished from the reservoir. A good water source is one that is shallow (less than 3 inches) and one that is easily refreshed. Clean, fresh water is essential to attracting and providing for a healthy wild bird population. The First Nature Bird Bath & Waterer is ideal. Give the birds in your yard a place to frolic in the water.

Clear Lantern Bird Bath and Waterer is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I haven't been outside much lately, but this item should work well. I didn't want to have an act... I haven't been outside much lately, but this item should work well. I didn't want to have an actual open birdbath because I'm afraid that the standing water may draw mosquitoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware! Should not be purchased for use in climates with sustained high temperatures. The black "roof" causes heat build-up resulting in shrinkage, water container distortion and release. Purchase only if you can use the post mount option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great bird bath /water dispencer This item is best set on a 4x4 as the underside is designed to do. The item is very heavy when full of water so I don't think hanging is the best way to go. On the 4x4 it is very stable in windy condition. The weight is supported in the best place. You can cut a 6 inch 4x4 block, add bracket (from the bird store) that can take a pole. Add the plole length that you would like and screw it into the ground. This looks very nice, this is what I did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bird Waterer has a design flaw and once filled with water, it came apart and fell to the ground The Bird Waterer I bought broke 2 days after I purchased it. The water reservoir became too heavy once water was filled and it fell to the ground and became unusable. There is a design flaw in how the reservoir attaches itself to the "roof" and because of it's flexability, it is not functional when water is added to the waterer. I would have returned the product but I tried to glue the pieces together and make it work and because I "altered" the product, I didn't think Home Depot would accept it. Also, when I ordered this product, it was delivered to the store and was broken. I did not see the it as Home Depot emailed me and ask me if I wanted a replacement, which I did and it was the second Bird Waterer that I brought home and found it to be useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Product This item did not last a month before the part that holds the water (clear plastic) fell off the part that hangs it up (roof-looking thing in the picture). Now I have to find the time to return it at the store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not good for hanging Tiny plastic hook looks and feels flimsy; stretches and looks ready to break when I fill the tub more than half full. Have yet to see a bird near it after two months. Twice, the clear water tub has come apart from the roof portion where the hook is, so the whole contraption falls down. Designed for fencepost mount or hanging - might be stable and better if mounted from below, but definitely not good quality if you plan to hang it from a hook or branch.
