I'm a professional wedding florist, and need tools which are super sharp, super precise, and LAST.
These snips are just the ticket!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Grower Good only for light work
There's play at the axis so the blades may knock and dull if cutting thicker stems. Aside from that they do their job.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lisac Average clippers for very light duty
These are probably ok hand snippers for very light duty. I took them out in my front yard to trim and they broke very quickly. I'm definitely looking for sturdier snippers!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AZgardenlover Great addition for gardeners
Though they're small in size, they more than make up in performance. I use them for both my flower/rose and vegetable gardens. The small needle nose blades makes it easy to prune flowers or cut fruit and veggies at the stem without accidentally cutting a hidden branch.
These snips are not designed to prune branches nor should you even try. However if you want a pair of small and precise snips to cut flowers or fruit, they're second to none.
I recently lost or misplaced my pair and I'm almost handicapped without them. So I'm ordering a new pair ASAP.
I've grown quite fond and dependent on this wonderful gardening tool.
Well worth the cost.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Floridagardener I never work outside without this in my back pocket. Great for harvesting eg lettuce leaves.
This is my third one. Don't try pruning anything hard or too woody or you might break a blade as I did. That said, I have two now and the older one has retained its sharpness for a long time although the catch that keeps the blades closed is a little loose and does not stay closed when I put it in my pocket. That's why I bought another one. One stays in my basket and one in my pocket.
I like the spring action for harvesting lettuce. I don't have to open and close it like scissors. I trims off green leaves and flower stalks if they are not too woody. You can get it to cut through larger green stems but you may have to make two or three snips with the tip instead of one swipe. It will last a long time if you do not try to do heavy pruning with it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by spencer Still sharp after a year
The narrow tip makes these easy to get into small places, and they are very sharp, even after a year of fairly regular use. The safety latch tends to re-engage/slide back in place by itself after a cut or two, but I don't mind as I'm not using these for lots of repeated cuts, and the safety of having them lock counters the slight inconvenience for me, but it is something to consider.
