Product Overview

Choose our innovative Pruning Stik Telescoping Tree Pruner for a level of control traditional pruners with exterior ropes can't match. The rope-free design means you can use both hands to maximize your power and accuracy, and an easy-to-grip sliding handle makes the pruning action smooth and simple. The lightweight pole extends up to 12', and an actuating ball at the end of the shaft lets you reach even farther and still prune with precision. An included 15"" saw blade makes it easy to take down thicker branches, and the cutting head rotates up to 230º to let you prune and saw at tough angles. With the Pruning Stik Telescoping Tree Pruner, there's no cut you can't make. Lifetime warranty.

Warranty information

Assume I will be buying your product. If there are issues like those many who find the jaws lock tight and cannot be opened; therefore rendering the product useless, what does one have to do in getting a replacement, given that you advertise a 'lifetime warranty' ? Do you have to return it to the store? What if one buys it at Amazon.com ?
Asked by: Lisa
Thank you for contacting Fiskars. Should you have any issues with your tool you can contact our customer service dept and they will assist. We will either provide instructions, replacement parts or replace the tool (depending on the issue) free of charge.

Used it to trim many limbs down close and fully extended and it worked great..... UNTIL the head locked up and would not release. The saw needs a bit of leverage in order to cut effectively and efficiently, which means dont expect to use the saw with the arm fully extended. It was a great product for the one day it lasted. Returned it to the store.

I have a number of trees, crepes, that are over 5 yrs old now, and some over 12-15 feet tall. I have a rostrum ladder, which is bulky to wield around the yard, and needed something to prune my babies. I have almost every thing fiskars makes....I got this because it is light weight, and even I can manage to use it ,easily. I have been able to trim everything in the yards, easily, in a fraction of the time, than using heavier clippers and a ladder. decorative and fruit trees, lopping off the top branches to foster internal growth, especially with water oaks, and the such. you need this!

The website made me give it at least one star as the lowest rating possible. The blade broke on the fifth branch I tried to prune on the first day I used it. This was my second Fiskars 12 ft. Telescoping Pruning Stick. The first one lasted two pruning seasons before the pull cord jumped the track and permanently jammed inside the pruning head. Belatedly after my second failure I read the reviews. These two problems are quite common in the reviews. I've had excellent results using various other Fiskars loppers and was very disappointment to experience the problems with the pruning stick. I was particularly surprised to see how long the problems have been continuing over the years in the reviews of this pruning stick without Fiskars doing something about their quality control. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Garbage Received for fathers day, used it twice and the head broke off. I took it back to home depot and they gave me another one. I opened the second one last weekend to trim a tree, made about 20 cuts and the mechanism jammed. I tried to fix it but could not get it back together. Threw it right in the garbage. It its not worth returning for another, just to get frustrated again.

But this one has a much needed reach without adding too much weight. The construction looks as good as my old one which has worked well for 10+ years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Bad, but could be better. Works well, but nylon cord broke too soon and the head fell off a couple of times. (easy to reattach). Nylon cord should be stronger.
