Product Overview

Choose our innovative Pruning Stik Telescoping Tree Pruner for a level of control traditional pruners with exterior ropes can't match. The rope-free design means you can use both hands to maximize your power and accuracy, and an easy-to-grip sliding handle makes the pruning action smooth and simple. The lightweight pole extends up to 12', and an actuating ball at the end of the shaft lets you reach even farther and still prune with precision. An included 15"" saw blade makes it easy to take down thicker branches, and the cutting head rotates up to 230º to let you prune and saw at tough angles. With the Pruning Stik Telescoping Tree Pruner, there's no cut you can't make. Lifetime warranty.

I have a number of trees, crepes, that are over 5 yrs old now, and some over 12-15 feet tall. I have a rostrum ladder, which is bulky to wield around the yard, and needed something to prune my babies. I have almost every thing fiskars makes....I got this because it is light weight, and even I can manage to use it ,easily. I have been able to trim everything in the yards, easily, in a fraction of the time, than using heavier clippers and a ladder. decorative and fruit trees, lopping off the top branches to foster internal growth, especially with water oaks, and the such. you need this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Used for 6 months, then belt broke inside the head of pruner The product is advertised as a lifetime warranty, but be careful because Home Depot defers you back to mfg. I filled out the online warranty request and waiting on their response. It's an awkward part to ship and since Home Depot doesn't support the manufacturers lifetime warranty, then I'd question buying this product again. For now, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bad I bought this pruner just before winter. Did not use it till spring. Cut three small branches on my Apple tree and cord/chain assembly went. Can only use the saw now. Waste of my money. Never again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had Probelm with extention part of pole pruner slipping.. Used this pole pruner for about a week. Then when I extended the pole and tried to lock the extension in place, it began to slip and the lever used to lock the extension pole wouldn't hold the extension . Sawing caused the extension pole to slide in and out of the base pole..The cutting blades on the articulating cutter, pruner still worked fine. But even that , once it began to slip made using it not worth it...I'd pull on the handle and the extension would slip while cutting with the blades, like it did when I used the saw blade.... I also had two instances where the blades on the pruner crossed and jammed, like they jumped passed each other.... I was able to fix the jamb blades on that and it fortunately worked OK..That slipping of the extension pole needs to be fixed...It makes it worthless as an extension pole pruner. If they could fix that, then they would have a winner. I went back to my old string pruner..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from shears good/ saw blade attachment poor Have this $80 pruner and the $40 pruner. This pruner has better shears, stronger pole, cleaner inside the pole nylon strap pull system. $40 pruner has external string and pulley system for cutter. $80 model has cheap, poorly designed saw blade attachment bracket. $40 model has good saw blade design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a good produce The cutting blades get stuck. This is my second one. First one was a gift. Thought perhaps I got a bad one. Bought another and it performs the same. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless purchase I used the pruner 3 times before it stuck shut. Tried using lube, prying it apart, opening the head up and more. The only way it opened was when I opened the head. I thought great it will work now. Put it back together, slid handle to close the pruner and that is how it still is...closed. Tried looking online for manual or at least directions to fix it. No info on the pruner head, just on how to replace the 'rope'. Very disappointed. Now I have to go spend more money to get a different tool to try and get the needed work done during the available time I have to do the work.
