Product Overview

The first time you try the Fiskars PowerGear Titanium Super Pruner/Lopper, you'll be amazed. Its patented gear technology multiplies your leverage to give you up to four times more power on every cut. This means you can power through thick branches up to 1-1/4 in. that you wouldn't be able to cut with traditional pruners and loppers. It also makes this design smaller and lighter than other loppers, reducing strain on your hands, wrists and muscles when you're reaching to cut a branch or have a lot of branches to cut. The fully hardened steel pruning blade is enhanced with a titanium coating to glide through branches without gumming up and to resist rust for long-lasting value. Like many of Fiskars' PowerGear tools, this Super Pruner has been awarded the Ease-of-Use commendation from the Arthritis Foundation.

  • Power-gear patented gear technology multiplies leverage to give you up to 4 times more cutting power on every cut

It's not designed for the handles to come together. You could pinch your fingers together if a dry branch snapped.

Replacement blade available for 13 1/4" Anvil Lopper w/'titanium' blade?

This was your answer:

Thank you for contacting Fiskars. The blades on this lopper are not replaceable but are covered by a lifetime warranty. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

So what does a lifetime warranty actually mean then? And how do you simply replace the blade rather than discard the entire otherwise intact tool? Why be wasteful?

Answer:
Because the Fiskars Tools have lifetime warranties they do not provide parts for the tools. They replace the entire tool. Must be more cost effective.

By design, the blades are all one piece with the handles. You would lose cutting power if the blades were wiggling around on fasteners. They are excellently designed and I bet there are none returned. If there ever is a problem and I doubt if there is, the whole tool is returned. I have never seen shears or pruners with replaceable blades??? Lifetime warranty means that you take the whole thing back and Read More

I have only had this lopper for about a week. So I don't know if the blades are replaceable. I would suggest contacting Fiskars for an answer to your question. So far, I have no problems at all with this lopper. It has performed excellently, efficiently and without incident. If it has any problem at all in the future, I will goggle Fiskars.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The lifetime warranty works - just not at Home Depot Initially, I went to HD to exchange a broken Fiskars product, which has a lifetime warranty. I was told that the warranty is with the manufacturer, not Home Depot. I emailed a picture of the broken product to Fiskars, who shipped me a replacement - no questions asked. It was disappointing that I had to wait a week or two for the replacement but I'm very happy with the warranty. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE BEST LIMB LOPPER EVER I expected this lopper to be good, which is why I bought it, but it is much better than I ever expected. It is so light & cuts so easily that my wife can now easily handle limbs that I used to strain to cut. She loves this tool. If you need a lopper I do not think you will find anything else this good. Plus it has a lifetime warranty. If it ever breaks just go to the website, add a photo and answer a couple of questions & they'll mail you a new one. I broke the handle on a ten year old fiskars older model lopper & they sent me a new replacement within 2 weeks. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's one of my best gardening tools It's small enough to fit in a bucket with other tools and has a nice easy cut on thick branches. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! Sharp and easy to handle. Adjustable to a nice range of cutting sizes ...GREAT BUY! October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding lightweight tool! This is the second pair of these Fiskars loppers I have owned. The first one lasted me 5 years of regular use. The are incredibly lightweight, incredibly sharp, and fit in a backpack. For the price, these are really tough to beat! October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly useful unique product, with remarkable replacement warranty I had this product originally for about 3 years and used often. Extremely handy due to small size. Does not necessarily replace a full size lopper, but a truly useful and innovative tool. Mine broke recently and to my utter surprise, Fiskars provides a web site portal to request a replacement. You just need to send them a pic of your broken product. They send you a replacement for free at their expense. If I had to make a product suggestion, it would be for them to manufacture a premium version of this product with all metal construction (one side of the blade is hard plastic, which is the part that broke on my original.) Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase This Fully hardened steel blade powers through thick branches Small and lightweight to reduce strain for ease of use. Good purchase October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything I needed. These little loppers are just the right size for trimming hedges and cutting thin branches and weed stalks. They are lightweight and comfy and I took care of a row of hedges and a couple small trees in no time. September 14, 2016
