CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great mower!!!! This mower is a great option for a smaller lawn although my lawn is large I can mow it in about 45 minutes. It is similar to pushing an old gas mower (one without the auto drive) as long as you don't let the grass go more than a week as I had done in this photo due to rain and sickness but it still cut through the high grass with some definite effort put forth. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has a small lawn and is willing to keep up on their grass by mowing weekly. It is high quality and seems that it will last for a long while with minimum operating costs (it claims that you only need to sharpen every 5 years) May 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I wish I'd bought this before my last electric mower Over the years I've had 3 electric mowers that died after a few years use and a backup Craftsman reel mower. I hesitated to spend this much on a reel mower, but it has proven to be worth the money. My wife assembled it while I was out of town and we were skeptical of the plastic wheels, but it's been a solid performer. My winter rye grass is very easy to cut. Summer bermuda requires a higher setting, but it cuts evenly on one pass. That's something that I've never seen with a 'classic' reel mower. One big plus is that the blades don't lift up when the pushing gets difficult. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product Does exactly what I want it to do--cut the grass in my very tiny yard without using gas or electricity. I purchased a less expensive reel mower which was difficult to use. The handle bent the first time I used it. Plus, it got stuck every 6 inches. The Fiskar is a breeze to use compared to my first mower. It won't cut as close as a rotary mower, but it does a good job. Large chunks of mulch will make the blades stick. And if you're looking to win yard of the month, this isn't the mower for you. But if you want your grass to look good and get a little exercise while being environmentally conscientious this mower fits the bill. July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice mower easy to assemble, easy to push, cuts grass well and leaves it looking sharp. My first reel mower since that was all we had in the late fifties. If someone my age can push this and cut my lawn, it will be easy for the youngsters May 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EARTH FRIENDLY AND GREAT WORKOUT! I've only used this a couple of times so stay tune for a future review...The item is easy to assemble and use. It doesn't cut dandelions and it is hard to maneuver on uneven grounds, i.e. big trees that have bulging roots in the ground. You will find that this is a great workout if you are going up and down hills. Found that I had a hard time pushing it uphill. I'm apprehensive regarding the quality of the wheels due to so much uneveness in my lawn. My neighbor was impressed with the quality of cut and overall appearance. Though a bit pricey, I think this will pay off in the end. May 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than my old reel mower I purchased a Scott's reel mower last year or the one before and though it did a good job it didn't do a great job and tended to catch on the smallest twig and worse under an evergreen on pieces of cone as they broke apart above. I took this mower out and mowed in the same area and never saw it snag once on those cone shards. That was SO nice. I'm not sure I'd argue it is easier to push--at times it seems to be harder to push than the Scott's but it doesn't get overwhelmed by taller grass or small twigs like the Scott's. I also think the plastic wheels are poorer than the standard metal rim with rubber tire--that could argue the poor performance when it becomes hard to push. Overall, I think it is a good buy and does a great job. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great little mower I love the simplicity of this mower. It does a great job of keeping the grass looking good. I don't have a lot of lawn and this is ideal for me. It was rough the first time through the thick grass, but for maintenance of the lawn it is perfect.I can now cut my grass early or late and the young Mother next door appreciates that her son's naps are uninterrupted. The only feature I would change would be a better rear wheel. I have not had a problem with it,it just seems like an inexpensive plastic wheel. Over all I am very satisified. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this mower, wish I'd bought one sooner I was upgrading my previous reel mower. This one is so much easier to push (even through the small patch of zoysia we have), and quieter. My husband has wanted a new reel mower for years because he thought it would make mowing easier but I thought "it's simple technology that hasn't changed in a millennium, how can a new one be better?" I was wrong! Should have bought it sooner. My only two small complaints: it's kinda bulky for storage and like most reel mowers, it will occasionally miss a stray grass blade. Not a big deal to me though. May 21, 2013
