I have been using these cans for the last 3 years and I don't buy anything else. Specifically what I like about this waterer is that it's a single molded piece - the sprinkler section is not "attached" and subject to leak. I find the sprinkler head is bigger than other watering cans and allows you to pour quicker, should you choose, simply by tipping the can higher. Other cans "sprinkle" water and seem to take forever to use up the 2 gallons of water (14lbs can get tiring when you're poring it at a snails pace). I say if want a lighter sprinkler than get a smaller can.

This can is a total piece of garbage. The water gushes out of the overly large holes in the spout and floods/washes away small plants and seeds. There is little control over the amount of water you dispense. Not much better than watering directly out of a hose, so what's the point of the can? Whoever designed this thing was a nincompoop!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HousePlant Very sturdy watering bucket
It is a solid plastic material and has good balance when full with two gallons. I have cut the sprinkle head off for use on interior plants and it works great. I have some of these buckets in use for over 5 years now. The older ones were green colored -- the new ones for the last year or so are black.
