My wife bought me this lopper several years ago. I finally used them this weekend. The blade chipped after just a few small branches on an oak tree - rendering the tool useless. Many other reviewers have had exactly the same experience. As others have stated, you can't find this particular model on Fiskars website.
I will try emailing the manufacturer for a replacement blade - but don't hold out much hope that the new blade will be any better than the original based on others reviews.
This tool is a real dissapointment - it looks cool and well made but has a serious design flaw with the blades. I have a pair of the smaller Fiskar 'gear' loppers - these at least survived a full day of tree trimming.

Purchased a few months ago from the home depot - just got around to using them today and within 15min the darn handle broke at the hinge point. The bars are metal, I specifically recall while looking at them in the store thinking with a metal handle these things will last! sadly, I should have looked at the hinge point, you guessed it, all plastic. Broke while cutting about 1 1/2" branch. Emailed fiskars a repair request. Hope for the best.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BenM Wished it was really Titanium
So I owned this lopper for only 2 years of light use. As shown in other pics the blade really isn't titanium but is only "blade coating".

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joe1960 Terrible Quality.
Used the loppers on finger sized oak and pine branches for about 10 minutes then the blade chipped. After another 7-10 more cuts the blade chipped to a quarter size hole. Say's titanium but I think it's junk pot metal. What a waste of money..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dan2k DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
This product is terrible. We are on pair #4 and fails every time. The first 3 pairs had issues with the blade breaking chunks off of it when cutting normal branches well within what it says it can handle. Pair #4 has the plastic handle break at the very end nearest the first bolt. My brother-in-law tried to take this pair back and Home Depot said no. I have read that people say to pull this product from the shelf and I agree 100%. Who would want to sell something that is being returned all the time? It's funny that you can't even pull it up on the manufactures website. Maybe that is a sign. I will be trying to just get my money back and go with a different brand because obviously this one is not worth my time or money!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Torphus A real one man show !
One tool for most any pruning job, easily used by one person, and will not leave you worn out and aching. I do recommend this tool to everyone, regardless of their strength, as just the thing for cutting back brush, tree branches, all the way to the max diameter for the lopper. This gets it done. A few extra dollars spent will not be noticed nearly as much as the frustration of using an inadequate tool, and the fatigue that comes from you having to do the work the tool should be doing.
