I bought this item four months ago but yesterday I was pruning a palm tree and the blade rivet broke as I squeezed the handle. I have many Fiskars products and this is a first with regard to it breaking. I returned it and bought the Professional model.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gardener Worked great until it broke a day later..
This worked great on trimming the plants in my garden until I went to trim the bamboo and the handle broke in half. It wasn't a very thick piece of bamboo but it was obviously beyond the capacity of this tool.
All in all, great price for a tool that is good for small twigs and vines, but nothing beyond that. I'd pay the few extra dollars for a tool that has a higher capacity just to save yourself from any disappointment

I fit it good with my needs. It is small in size but powerful when use. The manufacture has always put out quality products and that on the reasons I choose this over others

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tfr115 Bought both this and the Softouch
Bought this for heavier duty pruning and maintenance. After several usages jaws don't seem to completely line up anymore but still a useful tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greenbeancounter Super sharp and easy to grip
These snippers are so handy for keeping up light yard maintenance. My neighbor has wisteria that threatens daily to overtake my arbor, so I've used these quite a bit to keep that trimmed back. I've also used them in woody briar branches and they've sliced right through. I like the locking mechanism.
