Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sprink Does the job but needs strong hands
It does what is intended but the bag frame adjustment screws (wing nuts) will easily slip out of position and the "locking" mechanism screws will do the same. The bag is similar to the mower. If your lawn is perfectly flat or even, it works great. If you have some bumps, the mower misses spots and the bag adjustment screws will slip out of place. To get the wing nuts tight enough to not slip will require strong hands. In my spare time I will likely drill out the frame and put a permanent bolt in place of the wing nuts.

The engineering could have been much better. The support struts slip causing the basket to collapse. I jury rigged some hose clamps to stop this. Since there are no alternatives for the Fiskars mower, this was the only choice. Love the reel mower but am disappointed with the catcher.

Works great, the manipulation is little different when you hook the catcher. Because you have an additional catcher in the front. For best results without get blocked by any obstacles, you can mow around the edge of the lawn radially then the area in the middle regularly.

If you have a little light mowing and don't want the clippings on the lawn, this accessory is great. But for any type of actual mowing, you'll be emptying the catcher with every pass of the mower. I've given up and just let the clippings act as mulch. It is easy to snap on and off though and it is well made. Looks great hanging in my garage where no doubt it will stay.

Clippings are not good for zoysia, so I always bag my grass clippings and put them on the compost pile. This bag is easy to put on the mower. I thought it would make it more difficult to turn the mower but it doesn't. it's up high enough that you can pretty much roll up to your bed retainers if they are 2" or less above soil level. I have to change the bag more frequently than the big bag I used to use on the old gas-powered mower, but it's not heavy or hard to lug about. I like it very much. Leaves a nice, clean lawn as if freshly Hoovered. That's the look I want.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MannyJ Useful, but could have been better designed.
While the Fiskars push mower itself is excellent, the grass catcher is average. The grass tends to slide from the catcher onto the ground when removing it from the mower unless you're very careful. Considering that the grass is thrown from the top of the mower reel, the bottom of the catcher could have been angled differently so as to retain the grass clippings easier. I recommend it because I prefer to throw away my clippings rather than mulch them into the lawn, but the catcher could have been designed a bitt better.
