Does the remaining adhesive dries after opening?

If I cut the tip of the tube and only use it partly, can I tape the tip and keep it in storage for future use?

I drove a fat wood screw in opening when I was done. It seamed to have sealed opening.

Does the 10oz nozzle fit on the 30 oz tube. My tile are close to each other at 3mm or 1/8 inch

Asked by: Henry
Sorry the nozzle for the 10.1oz tube does not marry to the 30 oz tube. For large jobs with narrow grout lines the box of 12-10.1oz tubes is your best value at $89.95

Is this product suitable for re-glueing the laminate floor threshold strips that bridge between a wood laminate floor room and the adjacent slate hall

The adhesive the installers used has become dried up and I've had to remove the glue residue from the laminate threshold strips as well as the residue on the doorway floor sections. It has been suggested that I use "construction grade glue" to re-install the strips....rather than one of many Liquid Nail products.
Asked by: Tony
Yes, Fix-A-Floor will re bond the threshold, however I think any construction glue or liquid nails would also work as you are simply re gluing the threshold down onto the floor.

I have to give this a 1 (but yes I would recommend this product) because of the critical design flaw it has - the tube. It has this terrible characteristic of building up lots of pressure as you squeeze it out, so when you lift the tip you get a nice big glop of product all over the floor that you need to mop up. You just can't have enough paper towels. But there's a workaround if you have a job that's more than a single tile, which most of us do. Pretend for a second that this isn't the closest thing to Elmers Glue that you ever did see. I'm not saying that it is, I have no idea - get the elmers glue thing out of your head. Step 1, buy a giant squeeze-bottle of Elmers glue. The kind with the orange tip that you had in grade school. Remember, what looked big when you were a kid will be small now. Get the adult-big bottle, the one you can squeeze with your hand. A syringe also works great, if you can find one, in fact that's what I used, squirting 10ml at a time over and over until my wife and I had an epiphany that a glue bottle is a perfect design for this. Step 2, throw out all the elmers glue so you're left with an empty bottle. If you don't know what to do with a full bottle of elmers glue and you have some loose tiles, you can drill a few holes in the grout and squirt the glue into the holes. The glue will bond with the tile and has the bonus effect of holding the tile down, forever. Step 3, once the glue is gone, squirt the Fix-A-Floor into the bottle of elmers glue. Step 4, now follow the other procedures - drill holes, lots of holes, and squeeze the elmers glue bottle into the hole. This eliminates the biggest product flaw. Again, it's a packaging issue, the stuff that's inside works great. Maybe this product is nothing like white glue at all, it is just coincidence that it's white and takes 24 hours to dry. I don't want to mislead any homeowners into thinking that you can substitute this product with white glue on your expensive floor. Also, pro tip - if you're like me, you'll pick the worst tile in the house to try this on - the one with the decaying grout, that you could pretty much just lift out of its slot, thinking that would be easiest. I'd recommend not making that one your first trial-tile. The problem is the fact that you're squirting thick goo into a tiny hole, if that hole isn't a high-quality hole then the stuff is just going to go all over the top of your floor, why would it allow itself to be injected underneath a tile when it's so much easier to just go on the floor... You need good grout to use this, and my advice is start with a hollow tile with good grout to see it at its best, but first re-grout the bad tile you want to fix and drill holes and fill the void in that one tomorrow. I'd change my review to a 5 if a few changes were made to work on jobs larger than a single tile: - Change the calk tube to something I can squeeze, like a glue bottle, ideally one I can quickly refill - Sell a gallon-sized option, 4" tiles in the demo makes it look easy but 12-inch tiles take a lot more product.

I followed this youtube video to fix a popping plank on my wood floor over slab. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA_PtpcYrp0 After 24 hours it was fixed; no more popping. Worked great and as long as it stays that way, I give this a 5+ stars since other alternatives looked to be very expensive and a great deal of hassle. This was simple.

Product works however -not easy to apply comes out as pure liquid can be very messy if you not VERY handy - you may have to drill many holes if the thin set does not allow you to fill all the hollow spots- the video is a joke because it does not represent the typical situation - hire an expert !!!
