Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ssbaldy Exact replacement for what we had
This unit was an exact replacement for one that we had that had developed a leak. It works fine at the factory pressure settings. We live in a rural area and the local pipe store wanted over $500 and it would take a week to order it. The Home Depot an hour away had the exact thing in stock and it was less than $300 dollars. I was able to pay for it and reserve it online. Yaay for Home Depot

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chap Use lots of Teflon tape.
Wrap male threads at least 12 times. I installed this plus a new pressure switch (may as well do both) and the union to the tank leaked. Initial try I wrapped 6 times. Second attempt I tightened more... Still leaked. So I disassembled and taped 15 times... No leak and good performance on third attempt. Wish the instal manual would have mentioned this but at the end of the day - the water is on and family/plants happy.

This works better than the larger one that it replaced. The cycle time for the pump is reduced slightly even though the pump is a bit smaller.

The tank works fine, works great but it does not have the mounting hardware on top so I had to keep the original pump in place to hold the pump. :/

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Daniel Good tank, easy installation
Bought this tank because the bladder in my old tank burst and was not replaceable. Easy to handle and move around. The only thing that made me knock a star off the overall rating was the plastic flange/threads on the bottom. I read a lot of reviews on the net about this and lots of people had problems. Most were buying steel pipe to hook up and changing to PVC. I used PVC and very carefully installed it, Already had my pipe laid out so there would be a minimum of tugging on the hook up. (I recommend coming straight out of the tank and then using a T instead of the elbow they talk about.) Hooked everything up, adjusted the tank precharge and turned on the power. The pump filled the tank right up. The ONLY real gripe I have is the threads were messed up badly on the bung on top where the PSI gauge goes. Didn't notice until after it was installed. Thread chaser won't clean it up. It was painted blue so it wasn't caught in QC. Otherwise, great setup!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jodi Great tank, consistent pressure.
Our old tank went out and we put this one in. The pressure in the house has never been this consistent, nor this good. We have equal pressure regardless of which level of the house we are on, basement or second story. This is a well made product. Thank you.
