This has been installed in our add-on powder room for less than 1 year. The unit started running without stopping and so I looked online for help and saw all the bad reviews. It's ridiculous and I'm sounding off but I'm so weary of spending good money and not getting good value for what I buy. The price of this item was not cheap so I expected more for my money.
DO NOT buy this garbage item!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Louie It's ok have had it 2 years nothing to compare it to
Have have had this for 2 years now. When you install this make sure you leave yourself as much access to pump as you can because you will be working on it. We had to open it up after a year b/c it wouldn't shut off. Shacking of the pump took care of the problem. Now almost 2 years in pump stopped working and water started coming out from toilet flange. It stunk! Shook pump and it kicked on . Now it works when it wants. I think the switch went bad. We are going to upgrade to the 3/4 hp pump. My father in law did this upgrade a a couple years back and has had no trouble. Although it has been a pain it gets job done when it works.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Eddie85 Do not buy this type of tank!
I have had this toilet tank for over a year now in my basement, and since then there have been this bad sewer smell in the basement every time you flush the toilet down there, and i have tried everything but it seems that the waste does not leave the tank quickly and stays in it for some time. this is a really bad product, and now im even afraid to take it out because of whats in the tank( waste ). there are much better products out there, so dont go cheap on some thing like this

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cris Wait until you need to service it
It works well but the design is flawed. You have to raise the floor of you bathroom and you will have to raise the shower/tub in order to flow back into the tank.
And wait until you have to service it. I had to replace the float twice! You have all those screws on the top lid and then you have to disconnect the drain pipe and the vent in order to remove the lid.....
You can imagine what happens when it doesn't work and all the fluid start to leak from the toilet flange.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by davisj works fine
this was a first time up flush install i put a bathroom in my parents basement with a toilet shower and sink with a tile floor in three days this kit was a little tricky to put together but i figured it out with little troubles its just figuring out the directions and then just doing it wacth when you make your frame around the tank that is if you dont make the frame first cause i shot a nail in my tank and had to patch it my only real problem was with the seal between the toilet bowl and the plate on the tank there was a little gap so i had to buy a bigger toilet bowl ring so make sure you got one or theirs a store close and open when you are doing this cause it could make a day project in to a two day one if the store is closed the tank is holding up good tho and we have been useing it for a year this tank is made of tough plastic and the pump is good the seals work good just follow the instructions dont shoot nails in to the tank and youll be fine
