Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Long lasting and durable. All of the greenhouses have them to pump water through the cooling pads. These pumps run 24/7 all year round. In the 11 years of the greenhouses being up and running we have only had to replace 2 out of the 6 pumps. This is why, when they finally die out, we purchase the same ones! They are very industrious for the amount of time these run. October 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice little pump This was a replacement pump for the same one I purchased 4 years ago...which is still working but is on it's last leg. The pump is installed in a small pond/water feature that rises about 4 feet, and runs continuously during the daytime from May to October. My pond does not have a constant water supply to fill it, so on several occasions the water level has gone below the safety level for the pump without my noticing. Not good for the pump! But after it cools down, and I put more water in the pond, it starts right up again. September 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great for small usage I bought this on kind of a whim. It's not very powerful but seems effective. It's does not have an auto-off so you have to babysit it near the end of its job or it'll blow up. I measured it at about 6.5 gallons/minute so that's about 400 GPH, this was likely hindered by the sediment in there and my use of the garden hose (less flow). For the price, this was unbeatable. The box contains the pump and a standard garden hose attachment. February 1, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pump Works well moves lots of water this is my second one. First one was used daily. Wore out, after several years of use. Shipping was free but took over a week. April 30, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good economical and versital pump Replaced one I bought 20 years ago. Use to hose down boat and lower swimming pool level in the winter. Pump is virtually unchanged from my old one, which I replaced only because the plastic pump portion froze and split. For handling/attachingI much prefer the metal ring mounted on the old one to the two plastic ears on the new one. Further, the shipment arrived with one of the two ears broken off, requiring reattaching with epoxy. January 11, 2012
