Some of the stitching on the Velcro tie downs is cheap and I broke one almost immediately. Overall a good value for the price and I was pleased. Watch the dimensions on the Home Depot site. In one place the site (under specifications) indicated that it was 8' deep by 6.5' wide by 8' tall It is actually 8' deep by 8' wide by 6.5' tall (height). This almost screwed up my plans as I had prebuilt a base and pre-ordered shelves.

Anyone familiar with setting up a modern tent should have no problems. I was able to set this up by myself but I had to rig some temporary poles on the ends to hold up the greenhouse while I installed the internal poles. The overall quality is better than I anticipated and it looks to be a rugged unit that should last many years. I have the unit installed on my driveway held down with 1 gal water jugs inside and out. So far my potted hot pepper plants seem very happy in their new protective environment!

For a beginning gardener, this is a good product, both for cost and experience level. I wanted something to try the greenhouse thing out and this fit the bill. It is better than spending a small fortune and lots of my time building one and then not using it to the full potential.
However, it took two of us to put it together. The box shows this elderly lady putting it together in 5 minutes. It doesn't work that way! Once it was assembled, it is a pretty sturdy structure and is pretty easy to move around when determining where to put it.
My neighbors have come over to check it out and now they want one!

I LOVE IT! its so wounderfull, my friend and I set up my new flower house yesterday and I couldn't be more excited! It only took a coupple of hours to set up. The instructions were very clear and easy, the parts marked according to what the instructions said. After it was all set up we actually put 3/4 inch gravel arround the inside and outside edges. We also used weed plastic to keep the weeds out of my flower house. Flower house was great fun for us to put up and a real pretty thing to look at upon compleetion. A lot of special personal touches can make Flower House your dream green house!

The Dreamhouse is as advertised. If you're wanting to see how you like a greenhouse before spending some big bucks on a permanent one this is a great way to test the waters. Now, I have only had this product for a month and I live on the upper coast of SC. Not exactly Maine weather, but it's been fun & easy so far. I already have five plants growing from seed in the Dreamhouse. I'll also over winter some plants as well. Bought a digital thermometer and a $15 heater for the little greenhouse. I can readily check the conditions of the greenhouse from my home office. I can even turn on/off the heater with a remote. I have it on my concrete patio and it's anchored down by bricks. Not storm tested yet. One person can put this up, but it's a lot easier if you have two. Good Luck!!!

Bought this to grow veggies on the coast of northern California. Easy set up but the description "self erecting" is a bit of a stretch. It sets up like a tent and you need 2 people. Seems to be made with quality materials (in China).

My husband and I have intended to build a greenhouse for years to help jumpstart our ever expanding gardens, but there is just never any time. This year the plants I started were overtaking the living room, so we decided to go ahead and purchase an inexpensive interim greenhouse. While we didn't want to spend a fortune, at $219 we did want the greenhouse to make it through a few seasons. After reading the reviews of numerous greenhouses at Home Depot and another site, we decided to go with this one. While we've had it less than a month (so I cannot speak to it's longevity), we are quite pleased with it's usefulness - and it stood up well to a windstorm we had yesterday.
The only criticism I would have is a very minor one and only for added information for those who might be setting this up by themselves: the box cover is amusing, and misleading. This is not a "self-erecting" greenhouse and there's no way the petite older lady in the pictures would be able set up the greenhouse herself. That said, set up was relatively easy - particularly as my husband and I did it together. With the two of us, who have put up numerous similar tents together before, it took less than 30 minutes to erect. If you haven't set up tents before, it would be useful to have a friend who has set up tents before to help you, because the instructions aren't fabulous. Additionally, it does take a bit of strength to get some of the rods where they need to go.
