Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
"Yes, space heaters can be used in our greenhouses. We recommend using an electric radiant heater that is thermostatically controlled."

Answer:
Yes, the shell of the greenhouse is waterproof. Understand that the bottom is open to the bare ground so anything sitting directly on the ground will be subject to moisture. With the front and back door zipped shut anything inside will be protected from rain or snow.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Now I'll be able to grow great tomatoes. Greenhouse was easy to set up and has plenty of room for several plants. With ample ventilation and openings for irrigation the growing season should be fruitful. I would recommend this product. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flowerhouse Planthouse The planthouse was easy to set up, especially after watching the Youtube video. I was surprised at the ease and overall toughness of this product. It is made of a ripstop material that is translucent which provides excellent diffused light in direct sunlight. It has a door and screen which allow air and heat to exit the greenhouse. It also has a a full lenght screen on the doors to limit the ability of insects (hornworms in my case) to enter. July 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great little Green House Easy to assemble, just pops right up add the support poles good to go. Good ventilation, doors on two sides. Looks great for a temporary green house. August 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Worked like a charm all winter. I live in the panhandle of Florida where it doesn't get below freezing often. I used an infrared light used for baby chicks when it got too cold. That seemed to keep it 10-15 degrees warmer and I felt safer using it then a heater. Unzipped it during warm days as it can get quite hot inside. I placed in against my shed on the south side. I had a bit of a problem getting the sun shade to fit across the top. It was a very tight stretch but worked nonetheless. The velcro loops inside both ripped that hold the side supports that form an "x". I glued them to fill in the hole but was never able to attach the poles again. It did not affect the sturdiness in any way. I used the tie downs and added some bricks along the inside ledge. It did great in very strong storms. Easy to put up and take down. Overall this was well worth the price despite the couple of issues. April 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected! I put the FlowerHouse PlantHouse on my patio against the house and held it down with pavers since I couldn't stake it down. Even with near-tornado winds, that PlantHouse hung in there with no damage or rips. Wow. We've had below freezing nights for weeks and with a small space heater set at the lowest, my plants are thriving! I just zip the door open during the day when it warms up and zip it closed at night. And as a pop-up, it was extremely easy to set up! I added shelves for my potted plants and I was done. Oh, and Home Depot had the lowest price! Yes, I highly recommend this! January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase...am using it for my tropicals indoors and will use it outdoors this summer! The quality of the material looks like it will be durable and lasting. Added a timer to grow light (which I attached to ceiling) along with a small fan then added plant shelves. It was perfect to take care of plants during our month away! February 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Flowerhouse planthouse 5 Opened the box . mold on most of the plastic . Looks used. one buckle broken. If it wasn't so cheap and so much trouble It would be on it's way back. Never buy anything you cant see and touch. This is my first and last online buy March 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great greenhouse! This greenhouse is very straightforward in its description as well as the directions on how to put it together. It's made up of very durable materials and actually a little larger than I expected which is a good thing. It keeps my plants at the perfect temperature during the mild Texas winters. You won't be disappointed! January 14, 2016
