are replacements for the plastic cover available?

The zippers pulled away from the plastic cover during the second season, three years ago, so I had been using duct tape to hold the flaps closed, but plastic has cracked beyond usefulness now..

I like that the top is more square than other greenhouses I've had, which allows for more tall plants on top shelf. The cover fits well. The vent in the back allows for more air circulation. Bonus that it comes with extra covers for more shade. The wire shelves are flimsy and aren't strong enough to hold heavy plants but I reinforce it with thin pieces of plywood on top of shelves. Overall, I think it's a good value for the price based on the covers alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some improvements needed but still happy Box said no tools requird. But holes in plastic braces were VERY snug. I used a rubber mallet and tried to be very gentle but still managed to crack three separate holes a bit. It is still structurally sound but I may have shortened it's lifespan. Company now sends plastic ties to secure the shelves, definitely needed, but many snapped when installing. Not a big deal as I have plenty and they are easy to find. Plan on installing coaster wheels as recommended by another buyer. All in all still satisfied with purchase and looking forward to spring.

Not difficult to put together. Took about 45 minutes. Used a rubber mallet to put pipes into plastic side holders. The two covers are great. Can't wait to put my seedlings in it this spring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from setup cumbersome took 2 people to keep pipes, rails from collapsing... and finally used a hammer to secure them: I think that better directions would help. raccoons knocked it over first night! guess they were curious, as I had not yet put in plants. shelves keep falling off as I move plants... Finally used plastic straps to keep shelves in place... will need more for next year! 2 bottom tiedowns tore out of seams as I tied to legs. We'll see if the coleus and geranium rootings and tomato seedlings like it tonight. used blanket to keep them warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great, but a pain to put together we ordered this to put our seedlings in, but the seedlings grew so slowly, they never made it to the greenhouse. the 1st flower house arrived w/broken pieces. My husband took it up to our local HD, and they refunded, and reordered for us. 2nd one arrived in great shape, and my husband put it together. He's very handy and mechanically inclined, but cussed a blue streak while putting this together. He put it on our deck against our patio door, putting a cinder block on the bottom as we were having some pretty stout wind. He bought tomato, cabbage, and pepper plants. He repotted them in slightly larger pots, and they have been outside in the greenhouse for most of April, even on a 30 degree night. They're loving it, and will be going in the ground this coming weekend. The moisture inside it is great. it never froze, and drips everyday in the sun. It works very well, and we're pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I could give this 10 stars I would! I love this little greenhouse. I live in a townhouse with no room for a shed, yet love to garden. This greenhouse serves my needs perfectly & inexpensively. I used it this spring for annuals that I had purchased before I had time to plant them. This summer it was a great site for my houseplants & misc, tools. Kept my patio always looking tidy. The zippered front serves as great protection if a heavy rain should come--if we ever have any!! it is lightweight & easy to move which I appreciated when I cleaned my gutters. I'm in Minnesota so this fall it will be moved to the garage for experimental over-wintertering of some plants. I used heavy duty zip ties to stabilize the shelves which can easily be removed. Worked great!! I always have wanted a greenhouse. This portable one is perfect for my needs & I wish I had found it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mini greenhouse This is the second Planttower mini greenhouse I purchased. It has an air vent at the back so that air can circulate and prevent the inside air from overheating, cooking my precious seedlings. I started all my seedlings from one greenhouse last year and the plastic cover is still in great shape. I bought a second one this year so that the shelves don't get too crowded. Seeds were sowed in seedstarter containers in mid February because we have been enjoying some pretty warm sunny weather in northern California. Later, when most of the seedlings have been transplanted to the beds, I would start more lettuce and other veggies to ensure a continuous harvest. Starting seeds in pots in the greenhouse would save water and seeds as compared to direct sow in the beds. The black mesh cover acts as a sunscreen when it is sunny out. I haven't used the black solid plastic cover because I don't force blooms so I can't comment on that. I highly recommend this greenhouse. But make sure you don't buy a similar product that has no air vent at the back.
