The 'house' arrived on time with all parts in the box. It took me less than two hours to put together. Like almost all instruction manuals, the one for the house was a little less than complete. The unit is plastic so some care has to be used when handling to avoid tearing.

I received this pop-up greenhouse as a Mother's Day gift. I had been wanting a real one for years, so at first I'll admit to being a bit disappointed. Being such an avid gardener, I knew how poorly temporary setups usually perform. I was surprised how easy it was to set up, although the instructions could've been better written/illustrated. Luckily, it's pretty obvious where things need to go. I love that it comes with a very nice storage bag as well for the winter. It sits in my back yard, but moving it to mow is painless as it's very lightweight yet sturdy. It can get pretty hot inside if not loosely monitored. By using the included fabric roof screen, facing the door into the breeze & leaving the rear window open, there is adequate circulation to keep my garden seedlings from either heat-wilting or damping off without needing to check during the day. If I needed to, I could run a fan out there, as there is a handy covered cord portal along the bottom edge. There is ample head room. I am able to comfortably fit a plant rack & 2 folding work tables inside. However, what impressed me most was this thing's ability to withstand all the pounding storms we've endured here in the Midwest this spring. We do have it tightly tethered with the included ties/stakes, & when the wind is a factor I make sure to allow airflow through the greenhouse. But I just can't believe this thing hasn't wound up in the neighboring county or been ripped to shreds at the seams. It gets some protection from our fence, but in multiple exposures to winds in excess of 50 mph, hail & flying debris, it has neither taken flight nor torn anywhere. I could not be happier with this greenhouse & highly recommend it to anyone considering either a temporary OR permanent solution.

Set-up relatively easy for this 78yr. old. Well packed, good instructions, kind of a fun challenge knowing the neighbors were discretely watching. Material seems sturdy and after using the enclosed spikes to nail it down, has resisted several wind storms. Good ventilation with back window unzipped. Zippers are sturdy and seem well attached. Would like a better way to secure the doors when open, perhaps rolling and folding and securing instead of hanging loose. There are straps but I found them inadequate. Overall fun and looks good in the back yard. Planning to store it for Fall and Winter.

It was fairly easy to assemble and has withstood several nastily storms. It has enough room inside for some homemade shelves and still room to move and work on plants. We bought one last year that didn't make it through the 1st rain storm and ended up all over the yard! This one is sturdy and compact. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I wish it had come with its own shelving. I recommend this to any hobby gardeners living in cool climates to start planting early. We live in northern Michigan.

Be sure you have a way to anchor it down - as there is no floor.

I purchased this greenhouse a couple of years ago, and my husband and I just put it up for the third time a few weeks ago. I just LOVE this little greenhouse!
We use it in the Spring to start flowers from seeds, and to get an early start on purchasing flowers. We use the greenhouse to keep them protected until the weather warms up. It works great, and we too, have gotten a lot of compliments on how cute it is.
We live on a lake and we get a fair amount of wind blowing through in the Spring time, but by just putting weight on the outside edges (and using the ties), we've avoided any issues with the wind damaging the greenhouse.
I am definitely glad we purchased this great little greenhouse! :-)

I held off for a year now on writing a review because I wanted to see how it held up over the long term. I am in my second year of using it, and despite what I have read from some other customers, the Springhouse is showing no signs of wear and tear. I have to say I am so happy with this item, and have recommended it to everyone.
I use it to start my tomato, pepper and zucchinin seeds really early, and run a little electric heater to keep them warm during the cold nights. I set up five four tier shelves (two on the sides and one in back) and still have room to work. I have a big vegetable garden and I save so much money on plants now. I also have the biggest and earliest vegetable plants in Long Island thanks to this little greenhouse.
It sets up and breaks down very easily, and has held up against some very strong winds. Overall, I cannot be happier with this product.
As for the cons:
I don't know much about greenhouses, but it does tend to overheat on warm, sunny days, and I need to either put the shade cover on or take everything out. I assume this normal. And the product shipped with no instructions. I called customer service, and actually got to speak to an American! She promptly emailed me a file with instructions, but it still left much to be desired. I was expecting some helpful tips, but got none.
