Hi!

Between the water valve and the fridge is a distance more than 120 inches (10 feet). How can I connect two of these lines together... perhaps a 10' and a 6' ? Can you tell me if there's a male-to-male adapter or something like that?

Thanks!
Mo

Answer:
Hi Mo - Thank you for your question concerning the 60 in. Braided Stainless Icemaker Connector by Fluidmaster, Inc. Fluidmaster recommends not connecting two braided lines together but rather use one length of tubing to make this very long connection. In cases where more than 10 feet is required using an icemaker copper tubing is recommended. For any additional questions about the Fluidmaster 60 in. Read More

Answer:
Hi Molly We suggest replacing the copper line entirely so that the Braided Stainless Icemaker Cnnector can make a direct connection to both the angle stop and the refridgerator. It is not recommended to join the two supply lines.

84 in. Braided Stainless Icemaker Connector is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great on Samsung Fridge. 1/4" Connectors, Strong Steel Braiding I had to install a new fridge with icemaker/water dispenser in a home that never had one before, where the water line was downstairs and quite a ways from where the fridge would be, this 120" connector line worked perfectly. It's full braided stainless steel line with 1/4" female connectors on each end. These 1/4" ends will fit almost all the icemakers/water lines built into fridges out there. I hooked one end up to the fridge and it screwed on tightly. The other end was screwed onto the shut-off valve and it also went on well with no issues or leaks. Adjust with the proper sized wrench so you don't strip the connector. This is a far better product than cheap vinyl lines and their loose fittings. You can depend on this lines for years to come. There was no odd taste after the line was flushed with around three gallons of water to clean the lines as you should always do after an install of new lines. I will be buying this for any other refrigerator icemaker/water dispenser installs and replacements from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in everyway No brain installation. The hose has been installed for around a month now with no leaks, no taste, no problems. Well constructed and the 60" is more than enough for a floor level water output/input application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product real easy to install Had to connect two pieces together since I needed 20 feet of line. Real simple to hook up to fridge and water line under sink. No soldering or having to wonder if the compression connection is correct like in copper lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfectly Worked perfectly as described, even comes with instructions and helpful hints. Only wish the store carried it in stock. I could only get it online, then sent to the store for pickup. Added a couple days to the install, but no big deal unless your in a hurry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not too long, not too short Works fine for icemaker. Most braided SS lines for me were too short or way too long. This one is just perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What We Needed Many reviews from this kind of hose complained about the taste of the ice cubes. I dumped the first bucket and I can't taste the difference between bagged store- bought ice and this. As a matter of fact ,this ice tastes better. Hooked up in less than ten minutes. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get the right length you need The installation took but three minutes. Made the hole around the existing line larger using a multi tool cutter. used a 1/4 to 1/4 coupler to pull the new unit through using the old line. This line is wider so use a tie wrap to secure to refrigerator.
