Answer:
It is always a good idea to get a new faucet connector with any new faucet. The best way to ensure a water tight connection is to replace your connector when installing a new faucet – think of it like fan belts for your car!
Fluidmaster recommends changing the water connectors whenever you replace a fixture or appliance.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No need to worry about choosing the connector size This is very conveniently designed for people who don't know which connector size to choose, because three adapters are included in the package. Very easy to install. Great value! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Universal fit. After installing this in my home. I have been keeping one in my Plumbers box when I am going out on service calls. This is a 16" high pressure, compression water supply line. What makes this special is it comes with 3 adaptors for fitting on different size valve's and angle stop's. The supply itself is F.I.P. and the reducers are: Gold 3/8" C, Bronze 7/16" C and silver 1/2" C. They are colored for easy identification. also a great set for the novice who isn't sure of his /her pipe fitting needs. November 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by click seal a handy feature This is a sturdy hose, and flexible enough to fit any installation. The click seal feature is great for a DIYer; it prevents over- or under-tightening of the connector, no tools are required, and there are no leaks. You will hear a "click" sound when you have reached the proper tightness on the nut. The thread is sturdy brass, and the line is certified lead-free. April 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install - universal sizes - we used the 3/8 adapter This Universal Faucet connector was recommended as an additional purchase when we bought the MOEN Waterhill faucet trim. We purchased 2 with the expectation that they would work, and they worked wonderfully. They have 3 adapters. We used the 3/8 adapter which fit right on the valves we had. Plus it was easy to screw on not requiring any special tools on the feed end. The other end screwed right onto the faucet feed. Everything sealed nicely with no leaks the first time!!! Thanks. April 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect fix! Hardest part was getting the old line off; was able to install and secure in under five minutes. The adjustable connectors were a key, this kit totally made it easy for me to impress the girlfriend. September 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not correct specifications It doesn't fit although the specifications state so. It is really a universal part. September 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works just as advertised I'm not a fan of plumbing work, primarily because getting connections set where they don't leak always seems like a battle. This connector works great! It was a breeze to install, no leaking, and no headache! I went and bought a few more to finish off the bath and kitchen sinks. The only negative I can see is that these weren't available a few years ago. July 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product cheap price My old bathroom faucet hose was leaking water and break my ceiling open,I did some research and I decided to get this one since it have adapter that fits almost any size and can't believe it's cheaper that most other ones I saw, happy I got this wish I got another one to replace the other hose as well, didn't know it was such an excellent product will buy again thanks.
