Use part # 242 rubber diaphragm. Package says it fits the 300 and 400 models but worked perfect in the 703a5b. And this model too. Rockys hardware has them on the shelf for under $5.

Here is you can do. Go to any hardware store and get Fluidmaster, black diaframe. like 1-1/2" small black flat and round. Turn the water off on the bottom of the tank or floor. turn the floter base to the push and left I think. change the black rubber and put back the floter. Good luck

There isn't a demand high enough for it. The best thing to do is turn the water off at the shutoff or replace the whole water control. #lightningco

I have a toilet with this (Glacier Bay) flush valve installed. Tank will not refill unless I turn the water supply off, then back on again. The next time I flush it, it does the same thing - I have to turn the water off then on again. HELP!

I had the same issue tonight. After dissecting the internal fill mechanism I found a rubber seal had torn. when torn there is no back pressure and the water will only trickle in. The replacement kit is less than $10 at the Home Depot.

If this doesn’t resolve your issue, there is a master seal in the fill valve that may need to be replaced with Fluidmaster replacement part number 242. The master seal is located in the float arm assembly and can be easily removed and replaced using the following steps: 1) Turn off water; 2) Twist float arm counter clockwise using turning tabs located on either side of float lifting arm; 3) Once the nut comes off assembly, the master seal is located inside of nut - remove and replace the seal; 4) Reassemble valve by aligning and turning nut onto bell housing of float body and turning nut clockwise to lock back in place. The flushing system is where the water leaves the tank..how did thst get clogged? You might be able to try a wire. But if you are referring to the water control valve since it's the picture you have then yes..you should replace it. Unless you are technically savy to take it apart and clean the debri out and put it back together. #lightningco

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Works great, easy to install,NO PROBLEM. Easy online order. July 13, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Do yourself a favor & order TWO Here I am once again ordering the same part for the same toilet less than a year later. Do yourself a favor & just order TWO. I agree with other reviewers that it is nonsense to have to order this repair kit for the toilet that we bought from Home Depot. This should be a readily available item, especially considering how often it needs to be replaced. Luckily, it is easy to install. July 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfied I would like to mention that I was totally satisfied with the product. I would also like to make a note that there is also the option to buy the valve replacement which I will also look into for my next project. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item This product works great and was extremely easy to install. I am however disappointed that the store does not carry these and I had to wait for it to be sent. How can you sell a toilet and not have the replacement parts in stock? July 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product this took care of all the problems that i had with the toilet February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unavailable in-store This is a replacement part for a toilet that I bought at Home Depot, but they do not stock it in the store. Ridiculous!. I had to wait 4 days to pick it up in the store or else pay a shipping charge that was almost the price of the item itself, Ridiculous! The item itself was easy to install. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by did the job!!!! was easy to replace and saved having to buy new toilet. June 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Should be available in stores...... Home Depot sell the toilet that this valve works on however they do not stock this inexpensive repair part and it takes about a week or so to order it so you are left with a non working toilet for that length of time. May 24, 2016
