Answer:
Hi - I just installed this in my home - dark emperador is black with some (not a lot, very little) white marbling through it. Not sure why they call it emperador! Maybe because it isn't plain, solid black marble...anyway, I put in a black marble threshold and it matched perfectly....

No, it is not grey at all, it is a very deep brown, almost black. Answer:
The cabinet color is an off-white or cream or ivory. "Frost" white makes me think of an icy white, but that is not the color at all.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous! This vanity is beautiful and spacious. Unfortunately I had to order it three times, because the first two times it arrived with the marble top cracked. I was told they were using a new trucking company, and the third time was the charm. It arrived incredibly well-packed and unbroken. This replaced an old, very low vanity, with very little interior space, and a hideous, very-dated cultured marble top. The bow front makes this vanity very spacious and the fact that it is much higher than my original vanity also adds space. It looks amazing in my bathroom -- the marble top is beautiful (I did the rest of my bathroom in emperador marble and chiaro travertine), and the cabinet is very attractive, however, I wouldn't call it "frost" white, which made me think of an icy white, it is an off-white or cream or ivory. I am very pleased with the look and quality of this vanity, and also purchased the medicine cabinet, which has not been installed yet, as the bathroom is still under construction. January 31, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice vanity When it arrived we were disappointed to notice the marble top had 2 cracks between the sink and the front of the vanity. They were already repaired and it was very difficult to find one of them. The other blended in fine with the mable so we kept it. We also were disappointed that one of the doors hung poorly. It was caused by a screw that was loose so the hinge hung loose. We used a bigger screw that we had and it was fine. It's disappointing to receive something that has flaws from the beginning, but we really liked the look of the piece so we kept it. If you can tolerate imperfections or are willing to fix them yourself this is a nice piece. September 14, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 2nd vanity was better than the first... we order vanity about a year ago. first one we received was very nice but after careful inspection we discovered a crack in the marble top that had been repaired at the factory... and had it replaced. 2nd one was much better.... though truck delivering the item left a 18 inch crater in the yard when they decided to drive on the grass after 3 straight days of rain. like most vanity's today... wood is mostly pressed wood... any leak/drips will get soaked up pretty fast and you'll find cracked paint/wood in about a week or two if your plumbing isn't spot on. unfortunately...we're looking at vanity #3 for this bathroom. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Color description misleading The Dark Emperador marble top is more black than dark brown. The cabinet is described as "contrast with the frost white and white glazing finish", however, the cabinet is actually cream with some sort of white film sprayed in the crevices to make the cabinet appear antiqued. The white film was poorly applied and left overspray on cabinet and marble top. The overspray on the cabinet came off easily with a cleaning brush...I have not attempted to remove the overspray on the marble. The package arrived well packed with no concealed damage. The structure of the vanity seems to be sturdy and level. September 7, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Big Problem So the vanity and mable top was beautiful. The problem comes with the mable top. The first time we received the vanity, the marble was streaky and foggy and could not be cleaned up. So we shipped it back and ordered a new one. The second one was cracked into 4 pieces. So, yes we ordered a new one and this time it was cracked and foggy. So now we are dealing with costumer service. The item itself is beautiful and if you are lucky to get one that is not defected, then you will love it, but if you are unlucky like we have been 3 times, well good luck! March 29, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great look for the price I have bought two of these vanities, the first was for a house flip for a bathroom in the lower level thinking it would be good enough for just that "a lower level bath" When the unit arrived and was installed I was shocked to see just how great it looked and have since reorder the second one for a powder room for my own home. These vanities look like they should be twice the price with the marble tops that come with them, truly a great deal. June 14, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality - looks pricier than it is! This is a very classy piece that looks far more expensive than it actually is - my builder thought it was a custom piece! The marble top is very high quality and is a single piece of marble, not a mosaic of small bits like many other pre-made vanities with tops. A superbly easy bathroom upgrade that is also easy on the wallet! Highly recommended. June 19, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by way better than what's offered in the stores I bought this vanity for the main bathroom and liked it so much that I bought another for the master bath. The back splash had a crack in it and another got sent but it was cracked, too. Still waiting for the third backsplash. Luckily waiting for the new backsplash doesn't hamper installation of the vanity. March 27, 2012
