How do I get the bottom of the door to seal properly?

This question is from Cove 32.5 in. to 34.5 in. x 72 in. H. Semi-Framed Pivot Shower Door in Oil Rubbed Bronze with Clear Glass

Installed door, plumb and level, but the seal along the bottom of the door does not fit properly to the threshold. During shower, water runs down the door, down to the bottom seal, and the runs through the gap between then seal and threshold. Have re-adjusted the seal to various levels of contact with the threshold, but water still finds its way through the seal area and out of the shower area.

Is there a different/better seal available for this door?

This shower door looks great and is sturdy...especially in light of its relatively low price. The only downside...it's a nightmare to install! I had professional contractor put it in (someone who has done 100s of show door installs) and he said it was possibly the worst set of instructions he had ever seen for a product. You have been forewarned!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great Looks awsome only complaint is that only 5 little screws hold the entire hindge to the wall with little plastic mollys... Kinda flimsy with the entire weight of hindge and glass... Personally if i mounted again i would have bought my own bigger longer bolts and mollys and drilled holes a little bigger to beef it up because the amount of money you spend on the door you expect it to be up for a long time and that's definitely the weakest links.. Other than that it operates perfect and has many adustments and looks great in clear with brushed nikel ... Also invested in a squeegee!!! Keep that glass clean i have hard water and leaves water spots

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't fit for dimensions advertised. The product says 33 - 35 in opening. My shower opening is 34 1/2 in but the door didn't fit. I am having to shim by 3/8 in to get the door to fit. Quite disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I built my shower around the specs that were discribed on the door the door did not meet specs and was smaller then discribed expensive and does not meet the specs as described. was a whole 4-5 inches narrower than it says it should be caused a mess in my home plans delay for the door to get here than ship back and still waiting

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Hinge adjustment Screws and hardware Still waitng for Customer service at Formost to get back to me with new hinges. The hinges are suposed to be adjustable but the set screws are made of aluminum and strip out when backing them out . Instructions are not detailed. Extra metal rail for spacer is not explained in the instructions. Hardware that comes with the door is poor. Overall look after struggling with the installation is good for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice door.Good sturdy glass. The door is very sturdy.Closure of door very cheesy.Door hits side and shakes framing when close door even so lightly.Instructions not very clear. Two of us both read instructions. I am the homeowner with considerable amount of weekend warrior experience,I know that does not make me a pro,but I was helped or I should I say I helped my friend who is a licensed contractor with many years experience who had a very difficult time make out instructions. The instructions are very poorly printed. The product is good but needs a more strengthening on door jambs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Touch in Small Bath This door added a nice finishing touch to a quickly remodeled small bathroom. However, do not try to follow the included directions - unless you are an engineer. They are illustrations only, nothing written out in a step-by-step manner. I found a link on their website to a YouTube video showing the product being installed, step-by-step, and all the mystery was gone. After the main treshhold was cut, caulked into place, and set (I let it sit for 2 hours) , the rest of the installation took approximately 20 minutes.
