Answer:
Not sure about the opening size - you could center the threshhold, and caulk the ends to account for the bottom opening, then offset the plastic magnetic strip on the end of the glass to meet the installed magnetic strip. My opening was only 33.5 inches, and I cut the threshhold down to fit the space.

As far as frameless is concerned, there is a framework you install all around the main glass door to hold the door upright, and provide a magnetic edge for a sealed closure. The door itself does not have a frame, but you need to slide a plastic track (with a metallic strip) onto the door edge to meet the magnetic edge for the door to seal tightly. Read Less

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leaking Design structure allows for water to leak even when installed correctly. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shower door beautiful I had my shower renovated. This door really made a difference. I would highly recommend it. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great Looks awsome only complaint is that only 5 little screws hold the entire hindge to the wall with little plastic mollys... Kinda flimsy with the entire weight of hindge and glass... Personally if i mounted again i would have bought my own bigger longer bolts and mollys and drilled holes a little bigger to beef it up because the amount of money you spend on the door you expect it to be up for a long time and that's definitely the weakest links.. Other than that it operates perfect and has many adustments and looks great in clear with brushed nikel ... Also invested in a squeegee!!! Keep that glass clean i have hard water and leaves water spots February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Even nicer than expected Door looks classy and fits perfectly in the intended space. The only thing that looks a bit cheap is the clear plastic magnetic strip on the door's edge. The paper instructions are horrible, but their YouTube video was helpful enough. Never installed a shower door before, this took just under 2 hours-- but with good instructions or prior experience, could be done in 30-40 mins. April 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Touch in Small Bath This door added a nice finishing touch to a quickly remodeled small bathroom. However, do not try to follow the included directions - unless you are an engineer. They are illustrations only, nothing written out in a step-by-step manner. I found a link on their website to a YouTube video showing the product being installed, step-by-step, and all the mystery was gone. After the main treshhold was cut, caulked into place, and set (I let it sit for 2 hours) , the rest of the installation took approximately 20 minutes. August 28, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great door but the instructions for installation were terrible. Clearer instructions for installation of the Extender. would have been nice. February 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Hinge adjustment Screws and hardware Still waitng for Customer service at Formost to get back to me with new hinges. The hinges are suposed to be adjustable but the set screws are made of aluminum and strip out when backing them out . Instructions are not detailed. Extra metal rail for spacer is not explained in the instructions. Hardware that comes with the door is poor. Overall look after struggling with the installation is good for the price.
