Thank you for your interest in Foremost bath products. Yes, the sinks will be centered over the cabinet openings. I believe what you are seeing is just an optical illusion due to the angle of the photograph.

Answer:
Either the drain pipe will have to be moved up or a hole cut in the cabinet shelf to accommodate the p trap. We cut a hole in the shelf. Far from ideal. Wish we had purchased a different cabinet!

Answer:
Hello kcox,
If your plumbing is between the upper and lower cabinet then you may have to cut into the bottom of the upper cabinet. Alternatively as you said relocating the plumbing is also an option.
I've included a link to the specification sheet for the vanity. you can use its measurements to help you determine the best course of action. I hope this helps.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Vanity install The granite top with the under mount sinks was nice, the vanity base itself is slapped together at the Chinese factory. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value and Quality Delivered in less than a week. Quality construction and looks like a million bucks. Closest comparable vanity (with much less attention to detail and quality) was $2200.00+. Be aware of the rear configuration...you must have split lines and drains for the sink. I converted from a single sink to a master with this double sink. To avoid gutting the interior of the vanity, I had to run/split the cold/hot and drain pipes. It was worth the extra time to do it...See below for before and after. July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Very happy with this purchase. The cabinet is beautiful. The granite needs to be sealed, but my tile guy said that most granite countertops that come package this way do. Can't beat the price. So happy with my new bathroom. March 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by foremost 61 in vanity my vanity was top was replaced, thank you montrose co home depot, It was done real fast. looks great now. I want to thank home depot for there help April 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Quality for the Price One of the easiest pieces of furniture I ever purhcased on line. Everything was exactly as expected. the installation went very smoothly. Would not hesitate to buy another piece from this manufacturer when the need arises February 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor workmanship The Foremost vanity has 3 wood cracks where screws were placed and a scratch. All 3 appear to be "touched up" and will be hidden under the counter top but still it is poor workmanship and makes the construction weak. February 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous I made the mistake of hiring a General Contractor who then left it up to me to find and buy everything needed to remodel two bathrooms (1 full, and one a 1/2 bath). He gave me a skimpy budget for "fixtures", which turned out to be anything other than paint and tile (and the labor). Long story short, I hunted high and low for a dual vanity, and loved the look of this although it put me over my budget - it was the best splurge ever, and totally worth it. This is a gorgeous piece of "furniture" - mine is very well made, the color is a deep/dark brown, and the granite is beautiful. The doors and drawers work well, "soft close", and my bathroom looks like a million bucks. If you like the style of this piece, get it. I will post a picture once the room is done - paint is drying, still some grout work to do, and hang a mirror. This might be my favorite room in the house! July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice looking piece bought this online, came packaged very well no dings or nicks, looks great, took 2 weeks to arrive which is what we were told, only concern is 3 days after it arrived it went on sell for over $300 less, would have been nice to have gotten that savings!
