This toilet is recommended against a straight wall. The back of the toilet is flat.

Gemini 1-piece 1.6 GPF Dual Flush Round Toilet with Slow-Close Seat in White is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT buy this toilet The worst toilet you can possibly buy? You are unable to buy simply replacement parts as the toilet has highly specific parts. Homedepot does NOT sell replacement parts. If you contact manufacture the parts are back ordered and seem to be shipped by slow boat from China. A normal toilet that keeps running requires a simple new $4 flapper which takes less than 5 minutes to install. This toilet requires a new "canister" part which cost more than $58 (on backorder). It is as if you are trying to obtain a part to a nuclear bomb.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement parts for flush system are not available This is a stylish, nice-looking toilet. We installed it in 2008 and it worked fairly (but not great) since that time until recently. Unfortunately, the flush system used is not standard, and I had looked for weeks on the Internet for replacement parts. There are NONE to be found, and there is NO way to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Common replacements such as FluidMaster, etc, are not compatible. The cost to have a plumber come in and provide a hack was double the cost of a new toilet. I elected to replace the entire toilet with one I can service myself. Do yourself a favor, do not install this toilet in your home.

Base was very flat/level only one small shim needed most likely because of my tile floor. The dual flush seems to work well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good, works well Am liking this toilet thus far. Great size for a small space; height not too high for a short woman, or too low for a tall man:) Flush is relatively quiet and thus far thorough. Flush mechanism is a little stiff and requires some force which may present a problem for an arthritic person, or a small child. Top closes quietly and slowly (have to remember to let it do its thing:). Overall, happy with how it looks and works and would recommend its purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tank will overflow if fill valve gets stuck. I'm a general contractor and installed two of these toilets for clients. 1st call was that the toilet was leaking and flooded into their bedroom and carpet. (They used it in the middle of the night). Checked it out, it worked fine, no problems found. 2nd call, it leaked again, this time they noticed it was from the tank. Checked it out and finally saw the problem. The fill valve got stuck, which sometimes happens, but if it does the overflow tube takes the "overflow". The problem with this toilet is that the overflow cannot handle the amount of water the fill valve releases continuously if it's stuck. So the water kept rising and eventually spilled over the top of the tank. Did a check on the second toilet by holding down the fill valve and the tank overflowed again. Bad design. This toilet was made for Home Depot by Foremost. This is HD's design and specs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in a small bathroom We installed this toilet in early 2012. I am very pleased overall. I love the dual flush; it's a great water saver. There is a simple adjustment on the buttons for how firmly you have to press them to flush. It is very modern and attractive in the space. My only complaint would be a recent one - the slow close seat only lasted a year. It now slams down like a regular seat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Master Bath Remodel Nice toilet, heavy and a challenge to install if your by yourself (I needed my wife to help line up the anchor bolts). Seems to work fine and is pretty quiet. The only issue we have with it is the Toilet seat wants to shift from one side to the other. Overall very happy with this purchase.
