Customer Questions & Answers

is this round bowl toliet ? is it the comfort height or the standard height.. hope it's the higher size. getting sink also for small bath.

Asked by: jude
To clarify, the previous poster who claimed the toilet is "comfort height" is incorrect if we're talking about the industry terminology of "comfort height." The spec sheet clearly shows this toilet is a standard height of 15-3/4" without the seat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent toilet. Not only is this a beautiful replica of the 1930s, it is also an excellent working toilet. The flush is very efficient. It appears to use much less water, yet the force is very strong. It also refills very quickly. I would highly recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Details Make A Difference In A Small Bathroom Love the style and the height is perfect for me at 5 ft 4. Had it installed by a handyman to replace a toilet that was at least 20 years old. I wanted to match the shape of the old one where it fits on the floor. Couldn't find exactly the fit so there was a very small gap at the back which was filled in with caulk. Only con is that the lid will probably arrive broken as it is not cushioned inside the box the manufacturer sends it in to the distributor. Home Depot has replacement lids and it was quickly replaced without futher problems. (Distributor "Foremost" does not have these.) The box itself is cushioned in the shipping box but the lid only has a lightweight plastic fabric around it inside the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Style Toilet The toilet works great. The flushing power of it seems to do the job. Our contractor installed the toilet so I cannot speak to the ease of installation. All the parts were included to make it work (I did not know if I needed to buy the flushing parts inside or not).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice item, fits an 1888 era bathroom nicely. Nice product, looks nice in my period bath. It does not flush as quickly as I thought it would and the handle lifts UP instead of down. All in all, if is effecient enough. It is taller than the one I removed so my towel shelf needs to be modified so it will fit again. If you are looking for a new toilet, measure closely....several times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Old Fashion Style Great looking toilet if you want an old fashioned look. It is 12" normal floor fit but the tank sits far back on the toilet so if you have thick wainscoting on the walls, may be a problem. Came broken the first shipment. Make sure you check it out at the store first before you bring it home. Home Depot did a quick turn around. It looked so good, we bought another one for another bathroom. They forgot to order the top. Thank goodness we followed up. All is good. They both look great and work well. We used their suggested plumbing contractor and they did a good job, were friendly, professional, and competent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I bought this toilet to match my vintage pedestal sink. Unfortunately the toilet has very poor flushing power. I have to keep a plunger next to the toilet at all times. Today I have been flushing and using the plunger all day. I regret this purchase very much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice toilet to match vintage bathroom style This was one of the few models we found to match the style of our vintage (1940s) style bathroom, and the only one at an affordable price. It works and looks great. The only drawback is that it is not a super-low-flow model (1.3 gpf) design. Like others we found that the first one we had shipped to our home arrived with a broken bowl, due to poor packaging and having been turned upside down in transit. Return was no problem and the second one was fine (I had it shipped to the store, which is probably a better idea).
