Dear Bunski,
Thank you for you interest in the Foremost Series 1930 Lavatory and Pedestal Combo in Biscuit.
Due to the bottom contour of the sink, it will be extremely difficult to mount the sink to a vanity as it will not lay fully flat and will wobble on top of your vanity.
Thank you,

Is there an opening at the bottom of the pedestal?

My water supply lines come through the floor. I wish to install a pedestal sink, without having to move the supply lines to the wall. Is there an opening at the bottom of this pedestal that will allow the supply lines to come through the floor and be hidden from view, as it rises to the faucet connections?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely beautiful sink This is a beautiful, high quality porcelain sink. We used American Olean tile in biscuit, it's a wonderful match for color. The fit and finish was very good, nearly perfect, though I found when the bolts that attach it to the wall are tightened snugly, the sink appears to be ever so slightly tipping to the front, but that could be due to my floor, my wall, or my tile installation. Installation was very tricky. There is very little room to spare. Make sure your drain line is exactly where you want it, the plastic nut is flush to the wall, and use nice chrome 1 1/4" trap. Tighten the tail piece to the sink before you place the sink on the pedestal, then secure the sink in place, and then install the trap. Don't hurry this job, it's bound to cause frustration if you're not very careful each step, to make sure you don't need to make adjustments on the fly, unless you want to uninstall the sink a half dozen times and start over. I'll attach some pics so you can see how mine went together. February 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking sink Some pedestal sinks are wall mounted, and the pedestal is just decorative, to hide the drain trap. This one is supported by the pedestal. Since servicing the trap is difficult, if not impossible with the pedestal in place, you need to provide temporary support for the sink (ie 2x4s) to shift the pedestal to access the trap. This is further complicated by a lip at the back of the pedestal that prevents you from completely removing the pedestal. Then getting the sink to sit properly on the pedestal was a hassle. I had to use shims, then hide everything with caulking. But the price is exceptionally low, and I think the cost savings were worth the hassle of installation. December 11, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Manufacturing defects Had to return this twice to the store. Of course homedepot gave a full refund, but I had to pay the plumber twiice for installation. The first time the product arrived broken. The second time, after installation there was leak at the drain. We found out the finish of the drain end of the sink was not level. Installation is also tough. April 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this sink... This larger sized pedestal sink works great! "Backsplash" keeps things from falling off the back of the sink. Volume, height and size and wonderful not to mention the beautiful look it gives my new bathroom! November 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love my new sink!!! The salesman was very personable and patient. We did not have a clue about the type of sink that we wanted and he kindly showed us numerous models until we were ready to make a selection. April 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The room around the sides and back are great. This is installed in a rental home. The sink updated the bathroom and I love the color. The sink has plenty of room for sitting things upon it. August 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pegasus sinks Purchased 2 of these pedestal sinks for our bathroom remake. Great quality and very appealing. One basin was broken but was quickly replaced. Total customer satisfaction. September 3, 2010
