After reading your questions and answers......some questions were answered by saying that the sink and vanity top are attached
and others answer that you have to glue the sink to the vanity top and then secure the vanity top to the cabinet.
Does the vanity top and sink come attached to the cabinet?
Because even in the description, there are 2 different answers.
Thank you.

I read through most of the questions and answers. One of them gave a link to the installation instructions. They were different than the set that came with my vanity. They included how to attach the sink and top and the parts guide showed metal brackets and glue. My guess is that in earlier versions the sink and top were not attached and needed to be glued. The manufacturer may have changed that over the years even though the specs do not say so. They just need to update their description of the vanity. I am not a professional, just a basic DIYer, so this is just my observation. It is nice to have the sink and top attached, however, it does make it heavier and more difficult to move into the house. I guess we just can't have it both ways. Read Less

Answer:
Our vanity arrived yesterday. The sink appears attached using a metal bracket underneath. Now I am also confused. Do we need to unscrew the bracket and apply some kind of glue? Installation instructions include how to attach backsplash but nothing is said about attaching the sink.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Teagen bath products. The stone top measures exactly 42" and the bottom measurement is exactly 42" including the base molding. It is slightly less at all other points.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 42" vanity I gave this vanity a 3 rating because it comes in one solid piece. This makes it so heavy that it's hard to move. It's beautiful but unfortunately when the movers were taking it up our circular staircase they not only banged up the vanity they hit our railing and damage that. If the top was separate it would have not been a problem. Now I'm having problems getting the movers to take responsibility for the damage and come back to pick up the damaged vanity. We have ordered a new vanity that has a separate top. March 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very good quality, not so good design Construction and material quality for this vanity is very good however there is no recess for a toe kick area. Therefore your toes are bumping into front protruding portion of vanity. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VERY NICE We love this vanity. It upgraded the look of our daughter's bathroom big time! There is one thing that we deeply regret and that is the fact that there is no side splash available for this vanity. July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful vanity for the cost I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and bath. I ordered this vanity and although it is not installed yet, upon delivery I inspected it and was impressed with the quality and look of the piece for the price I paid. From the elegant look to the soft close doors, I am very happy with my purchase. This piece is going to look beautiful in my newly remodeled guest bathroom. I'm excited to see the final look, I ordered the mirror to accompany the vanity, its going to look fabulous!! August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the price I had a contractor doing a bathroom remodel, so he installed the vanity. It looks nice - haven't used it yet, but assume it will be fine. July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great vanity, great price This is an update to an earlier review. The first time I ordered this unit it was delivered with a mis-aligned top and had to be returned. Home Depot's return process worked fine, but they were out of stock and could not ship a new unit at the time. A few weeks later they went on sale online at the lower price and were available, about 6 weeks earlier than anticipated. The unit arrived in good shape (inspected immediately this time) and went into a bathroom remodel where I fit perfectly, both aesthetically and physically. Very easy to install, easy to connect faucet, drawers and doors work great. Even though I had to wait I got what I wanted in the end, and saved a nice amount. One caution about the backsplash: It's the same material as the top and rigid as stone. If your bathroom wall is not straight, as in my case, the backsplash cannot flex to fit. I got some travertine accent tiles for backsplash and sidesplash, framed them with a metal Schluter strip (available at Home Depot) and the result looks fantastic. January 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Damaged product After waiting a couple of weeks for the item to be delivered to the store, my contractor picked it up. We started to open it while still on the truck to find it damaged. Not damaged during shipping, but as manufactured. There was a knot in the front apron that was filled with something and stained, an edge which was chipped, and a panel which was stained improperly. Then the item is out of stock. It won't be in stock until JULY. Keep in mind the original order was the beginning of April, so July is unacceptable as far as the renovation schedule. We had to change our plans and went elsewhere. We no longer trust the quality of large items ordered from Home Depot. I would rather pay more for the quality of a better product. May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I'm so disappointed! This is a hard review to write because I love this cabinet. We had this Teagen by Foremost vanity combo installed about 7 months ago. I LOVED it. It looks beautiful and classy. About 1 month ago, I started noticing rings from cups and water droplet marks on the counter top. I have been extremely conscientious about wiping the top and keeping it clean. I went to Home Depot to see what could be done and was given a recipe for a poultice to try to remove the marks. I couldn't believe after that short of time I would be dealing with stains that can't be removed. I agree with another reviewer that asked, "shouldn't a counter top in the bathroom be able to withstand water??? " I'll let you know how the poultice works. February 18, 2016
