After reading your questions and answers......some questions were answered by saying that the sink and vanity top are attached
and others answer that you have to glue the sink to the vanity top and then secure the vanity top to the cabinet.
Does the vanity top and sink come attached to the cabinet?
Because even in the description, there are 2 different answers.
Thank you.

Answer:
I received the vanity with everything except the drawer and door handles installed and intact. All one unit. I don't know if maybe at one point they might have shipped them as separate pieces, but as of a week ago when I received mine it's all together. Today is 13-sept-16.

I read through most of the questions and answers. One of them gave a link to the installation instructions. They were different than the set that came with my vanity. They included how to attach the sink and top and the parts guide showed metal brackets and glue. My guess is that in earlier versions the sink and top were not attached and needed to be glued. The manufacturer may have changed that over the years even though the specs do not say so. They just need to update their description of the vanity. I am not a professional, just a basic DIYer, so this is just my observation. It is nice to have the sink and top attached, however, it does make it heavier and more difficult to move into the house. I guess we just can't have it both ways. Read Less

Our vanity arrived yesterday. The sink appears attached using a metal bracket underneath. Now I am also confused. Do we need to unscrew the bracket and apply some kind of glue? Installation instructions include how to attach backsplash but nothing is said about attaching the sink.

Answer:
Not entirely. The wood is accurate, but the sink is a porcelain white. The counter top is a stone with an ever so slight beige depth to it from the stone work. While that information is listed, the picture doesn't do it justice. Very beautiful piece.
Note that the matching medicine cabinet wood, with the mirror, pictured shows the wood to be darker. Instead it does match the vanity.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Teagen bath products. The stone top measures exactly 42" and the bottom measurement is exactly 42" including the base molding. It is slightly less at all other points.

Teagen 42 in. Vanity in Dark Espresso with Engineered Stone Vanity Top in Beige is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 47.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful vanity for the cost I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and bath. I ordered this vanity and although it is not installed yet, upon delivery I inspected it and was impressed with the quality and look of the piece for the price I paid. From the elegant look to the soft close doors, I am very happy with my purchase. This piece is going to look beautiful in my newly remodeled guest bathroom. I'm excited to see the final look, I ordered the mirror to accompany the vanity, its going to look fabulous!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very good quality, not so good design Construction and material quality for this vanity is very good however there is no recess for a toe kick area. Therefore your toes are bumping into front protruding portion of vanity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality. Buy it to beleive it. This is a high quality vanity. Unfortunately it is foreign made, but they got the quality right. Even the panels on the back are installed with furniture screws, not staples. For those questioning this, it does come with a sink WITH an overflow so be sure to buy the right drain for it. The vanity is very heavy so don't try to move it about alone. 265 lbs. I installed mine on a newly laid real slate floor. Looks terrific. Came out better than I had hoped for. Vanity does have thin tiny feet under it, but they are not for leveling, only protecting the bottom and a floor. The door and drawer handles are polished nickle and are well done. Must be installed by yourself though during installation of the vanity. Very well constructed unit with real dovetail joints in the drawers. BE SURE TO TREAT THE WOOD AS FURNITURE. Use only polish to clean. (recommend Pledge) No chemicals nor abrasives. The only problem I encountered is not related to this vanity being the problem as my design is hard to find pieces for. A center hole faucet with all the controls mounted, a left hand hole for installing a soap dispenser, and the drain control in the right hand hole. I managed to find the pieces, but the drain control proved to be rare to find and extremely expensive. That is my personal setup and I was surprised to learn that such a layout is not more common. This vanity comes with the holes predrilled for a wide set and they worked fine for my personal setup. (Hint to bathroom plumbing fixtures manufactures) If properly cared for this vanity should last many lifetimes. I don't have pictures as of yet, wish I did, but if I remember it I'll add them later.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from buyer beware Home depot has been very helpful in taking care of our problems to a point. Our first installation had a hair line crack in the sink, now we have what appear to be water spots on the vanity top that are not water spots. The spots are actually blemishes in the top and we have found no way to remove them. I see by reading the reviews on this vanity that others have found the same problem. It is a shame to spend the amount of money for a vanity and installation and not be satisfied and no way to resolve the issue. I wrote the manufacturer and have had no response. I hope you don't experience the same problem if you purchase this item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible quality control It was obvious that someone returned this vanity because it had a quarter size chip on the vanity top. I don't know if someone damaged it at the factory or if it was damaged by someone that purchased it and then returned it. Either way, if it was inspected by a Home Depot employee, they would have seen the damage and should have marked it as damaged. Instead, it was repackaged and sold again...to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY NICE We love this vanity. It upgraded the look of our daughter's bathroom big time! There is one thing that we deeply regret and that is the fact that there is no side splash available for this vanity.
