The installation instructions was not so great. Also should have a drain channel on the bottom of the frame that will direct the water from the door into the shower. I correct this by drilling a hole near the hinge on the bottom. Works great and will cut a slot to drain faster. This prevents the shower door from holding water that when you swing the door open it will spray it on the floor. The factory should have thought of this before shipping.

Decent door but the strip molding on the door came loose within a week of installation, The piece used to hold that molding in place simply broke and fell out letting the molding slip out of the channel. Poor engineering or quality control.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by johndoe Didn't fit 25 inch
Quality for cost is OK, but I installed in 24.875 inch opening, and door would bypass the magnetic jam if not closed very gently. That bypass closing required a wood wedge and a 2nd party to get out of the shower. I recommend this door for 23 to 24 inch use, but not 25 inch. Kudos to Home Depot for no hassle return policy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handyhomeowner Price makes up for its short comings which are few.
The price on the door was great for an undersized door. My only gripes are the directions are all pictures and no words which isn't so bad since it was pretty easy but something I always find annoying. Also the channel for catching water has no drain so it drips the water out slowly...including when I open the door. I'll have to cut a slot in it to drain back into the shower. Other than that it seems like a pretty decent door for the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by geoffhazel OK door but isn't reversible as advertised
Good packaging. I saved shipping and picked it up at the store. The product description says "the pivot door can be configured with either a right or left hand swing to suit the needs of your space" but there is no way to do that I could find. The bottom piece has a sweep and the top rail is configured differently so it's not like you can just flip it over, and there are no instructions on how to "change the swing". Also, mine was shipped with the sweep installed, and it got all crunched and bent during its time in the box. I wish they had left it off and let me install it. Finally, one tip: have a 3/32" drill bit handy to drill pilot holes on the jamb side. They include some small "self drilling" screws but they are not much good without a pilot hole. Otherwise, it's a solid feeling door, and looks pretty good. Oh, and before you order, you might want to put a piece of cardboard the size of the door in he hole where the door is going to go to be sure it is tall enough for you.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by showerguy Avoid this door!
I purchased this Foremost Tides shower door in order to complete our bathroom remodel. I was looking for a door that would feel solid when it was opened and closed, and wanted to avoid the economy doors that shake, shimmy and just feel cheap.
Unfortunately this door was a great disappointment. After it was installed I opened it for the first time, and it shook like crazy! THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE GLASS ON MY DOOR IS ONLY 4MM THICK, NOT 1/4" (1/4" is about 65% thicker than 4mm.) While closed the door is held in place by a full length magnetic strip which grips pretty tightly. It takes a reasonable amount of force to open the door, and when the magnet releases that energy is transmitted to the glass and frame, hence the shaking. The 4 mm glass just isn't thick enough to provide the rigidity necessary to minimize vibration. So IMO there is a big mismatch between the thickness of the door and the magnetic closing mechanism.
Based on the door's performance I don't really see enough difference between the Tides door and economy doors that sell for $82 on the HD web site to justify this one's price. To me it seems like an economy door that has been dressed up with a bit of fancier trim.
If you're looking for a door with a solid feel I strongly advise buying a different piece, one that actually specs out to 1/4 inch glass. If mine weren't already installed it would be going back in a heartbeat, and in fact I may still rip it out and return it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by anna nice door
I really like the way the door looks. The magnet closure is pretty strong and takes a real push to get it open. Also the bottom part of the door holds water so when you open it, the water drips all over the floor. Overall though, a great shower door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nealsson Great Value for a substantial shower door
We purchased this door to complete a basement bathroom remodel that was forced by a water leak. The door shipped double-boxed and arrived at the store in good shape. The door looks great and has 1/4' glass vs. 1/8" and feels more substantial. The long length of magnetic material makes a good seal and over all we are very pleased with the door. It saved us $500+ over a custom install and if you need a 24" door, look no further.
