Thank you for your interest in Foremost shower doors. This door does require an overall opening height of 70". As long as there is 70" of open space above the threshold this door can be used to replace a 66" tall door. If you do not have enough room to use this taller door, we also make a 66" tall version of this door. The model number for the shorter version with the same glass and finish is Read More

Dear Santa Clara,
Thank you for your interest in Foremost shower doors. The towel bar on our Tides series sliding doors is glazed into the panel framing. In order to prevent the towel bar bracket from slamming against the wall jambs, we do use a fairly large wall bumper, but this generally does not cause a problem with splash around. If you are concerned with this issue, I would suggest you look at our Cove series sliding doors. Because the Cove towel bars pass through the glass, we are able to position them to allow more clearance with the wall jambs and as such we get a bit tighter fit where the sliding panel meets the wall jamb. Since the doors are sliding doors the door with the handle could easily be on the right side.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Was about what I expected The shower door was what I had expected. It look nice after installation. The only problem I had is the hardware is made with inferior metal and stripped out when adjusting the rollers for the door. I had to order new rollers (3.95) and grind the heads of the screws off the ones that came with the door, because once on the heads of the screws stripped out. May 13, 2014
