As per other reviews ... ditto.
Great stuff, very little to no smell, easy to work with, etc..
reviewing the manufacturers website seems like the perfect stuff.
I just finished installing 3/4" oak hardwood floor so can't speak to effectiveness yet but can say there are no squeaks.

This is a great substitute for rosin or felt paper as an underlayment for hardwood floors. It installs neatly and is cost effective. Would recommend for anyone looking for flooring underlayment.

Product lays nicely. No issues at laps and transitions. One star reserved because I don't know how it will perform in the long run. So far, so good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by step02 National Wood Flooring Association Approved Vapor Retarder
This product is great in that it provides the necessary vapor protection when installing wood floors in rooms over unfinished spaces (in my case, the living room over the basement). It is an product approved by the NWFA as a underlayment for wood and tile.
This is a much cleaner product to user over asphalt / felt paper, as the asphalt material is sandwiched in between to layers of kraft paper. In addition, rosin paper and felt paper are no longer recommended underlayments. A penny more per square foot compared to rosin paper.
Product was shipped faster than the estimated delivery. Installation is a breeze, especially with the markings showing your where to overlap adjacent sheets (min 4").
No need to attach the paper to the subfloor, as it will be held in place with the nails or staples holding down the wood floor. I just did one line of staples near the middle to hold the paper in place.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Justaguy93 Better than felt paper cheaper than the fancy alternatives
Recently installed solid hardwood floors in two bedrooms and used this as underlayment. Easy to work with, very clean and smooth so it was easy to move boards around while planking. Cheaper than a lot of the alternatives as well.
Only issue I experienced was that chalk lines are harder to see and wipe off easier than standard felt paper.

Put this product down under 1600 sq ft of engineered hardwood floor. Easy to use, smell was minimal compared to traditional tar paper and it did not mark up my walls.
