I'm looking at the 12'L X 14'W. cover. says 4 posts. That's about 4'8" between posts. Seems so close together, can't I just do corner posts? (the 12'W model only has 2 posts?)

Answer:
I have only one post ,center of my 14 ft. side of my patio cover. Does fine . The rigid facia with built in gutter is nice and straight and does not warp. However Southern Indiana is not a heavy snow area.

14 ft. x 12 ft. White Aluminum Attached Solid Patio Cover with 4 Posts (20 lb. Live Load) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly satisfied so far. Installed my patio cover on April 18th 2016 with the help of my brother in law. The cover arrived from home depot.com in good condition packed really well with all the parts. We had a little trouble with the first two panels trying to push them together to fit within the 12'' marks but after that the rest of them went together smoothly. Make sure everything is level and stay within your 12'' marks and you should have no trouble. This is a good sturdy patio cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awning All materials needed for installation were prepacked and installation was a breeze. It does require 2 people so be prepared for that. The only thing I did not like was the way the side fascia attached. Other than that the main roof panels did not fit together according to the instructions. I attached the first panel as instructed and then just slid the panels together from the end instead of lifting, rolling, and then sliding. Make sure to mark the 12" as instructed and line up each panel on those marks before securing each panel. This will alleviate any problems when you get to the last panel. All in all, I was very pleased with the product and the ease of installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was easy to install,I recommend a helper!! This kit gave us a hole new outside living area,I used to use a gazebo type cover on the deck and the wind always blew it down and now we don't have to keep replacing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality The quality of this is product truly astonishing. My place had special issues so I had to have a pro put it up. Even he said that he couldn't get me anything close for the price. It went up in a snap and all totaled it cost 1/2 of what I had been quoted by other awning installers. The only issue is the side rail. Due to the way it is constructed it looks tilted when finished. A small price to pay for saving over $2K+. This is really a great deal especially with the free delivery!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best decision ever! We love this cover. Took handy husband and teenage son about five hours to install this over our existing deck. The only bad thing he would say is that the panels could be tricky to attach to the previous panel and slide into place, but still well worth the time and effort. And you can't beat the price for such a nice looking addition to your outdoor living area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one fine patio cover Not the easiest thing to put together but I did it all by myself. Had 1 damaged panel and they replaced it with no problem. Great people to work with. Will recommend to all my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised at quality, and strength. Nice looking, sturdy, some what easy to install, directions are a little sketchy. It takes a good 8 hours to install, and getting the roof panels to lock together is a pain but a must to keep the roof strong. Living in Minnesota I'm going to add 2X6 beam support about every 2-4 feet for added support from snow. May not be needed but better safe than sorry. I think I can make the beams a nice looking addition and functional. Will attach beams with painted white joist hangers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good quality, looks great, great price! The patio is up! It is great! It provides the shade that I want! I would have liked patio post covers to have been included to add a decorative and sturdier look. Or the option to purchase them from you. I will be buying the post covers locally from another company, The price of the patio kit was geat. Instructions were easy to follow and all materials were included. Thanks!!
