The Frame It All 4-Way Joint allows right angle turns in raised garden bed designs (such as an ‘L’ shaped layout)Additionally, it can be used in its component parts to cross-brace raised beds, preventing ‘push-out’ caused by frost expansion. In colder climates, soil freezes and expands in winter. This frost-expansion could push the side walls of your multi-level raised garden bed outwards. Prevent the side walls from moving by adding a cross timber to connect the two longer sides across the bed. To use the 4-Way Joint for this application: Attach a Stacking Joint Bracket (not included) to both ends of the cross-brace timber, one end up and the other end down. Connect the opposing side walls with one half of a Four-Ways Joint on both side walls. The 4-Way Joint will slot into the aperture of the joint below exactly as the Stacking Joint does. When used for the cross-bracing function you only need one 4-Way Joint for each cross-braced level.

- Prevents garden from expansion and contraction of soil due to freezing and thawing
- For 6 in. wide timbers
- Allows cross-connection of the corners of a raised garden bed
