Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Relatively easy to assemble. Corners and stakes are plastic. Not as good as those I bought from another source. From the online picture of the product, it looked like the corners were made of metal. However, they are made of plastic and come with plastic stakes. I bought raised bed from another source in previous years. They were more expensive about $40 more for a 4x4 bed, but came with large bolts and washers and were pre-drilled with cedar corner posts. Over all, my old beds are more substantial; the beds have held up well for years. This product is less expensive, but comes with plastic corners and small screws. They look okay, but I wonder how well they will hold up over time. I'm a little disappointed because of this. However, depending on the budget of the purchaser, this is might fit the bill. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic addition to our yard We wanted raised beds but to say we aren't "handy" is an understatement. We bought three of these beds and they are perfect and at a price that you can't beat. The cedar is the best wood for a garden. We dug down 6" then filled them with organic top soil. The kids loved the ease of planting in them. If you've ever thought about vegetable gardening, this is the perfect way to start. May 29, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product was a disappointment I waited for 2 weeks for this garden bed to arrive. When I finally got it, I followed the instructions and laid everything out. When I started to assemble the parts, the plastic end pieces/joints were breaking on me when I started to hammer them into the ground with a rubber hammer. At first I thought that I hit it to hard, so on the next one I did it lighter and slower, and it also broke. I ended up breaking 5 plastic connectors, so I put everything back into the box and returned the item to my local store. I was very disappointed at the quaility of the plastic end parts and how they kept on cracking. April 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Raised garden bed kit I was not impressed with the plastic anchors. It sorely limited where I could put the garden. Think HD would be wise to improve the quality of the parts. December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product I found the product to be easy to assemble with either a hand screw driver or the power screw gun. I simply reminded myself to turn down the power gun a little so as to not strip out the screw. A few more details in the instructions naming the parts would have been helpful but spending time looking at the instruction sheet pictures did the trick. Overall a very good value and product quick and simple to construction. April 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat disappointing This is an expensive solution. The options however are either more flimsy and/or to use non-wood boards. The kit arrived nicely packaged and putting it together was not difficult. Durability is questionable because of the rather flimsy appearing plastic, yes genuine plastic, corners and joint hinges. I didn't break any but it would be easy to do so. How long they'll last in a garden in which you will sooner or later bump them with a shovel, hoe or whatever is anyone's guess--mine is that I'll likely be looking for metal corner hinges to replace chipped or broken pieces with in a year. The boards are real cedar. Hopefully they will endure the N.W. climate. After putting this together I figure it would be more economical in the long run to simply use less expensive pine boards and replace the pieces as they deteriorate, than pay the premium for a flimsy cedar kit. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love my new garden!!! It was easy to assemble and to plant. I put landscaping material down before planting and then ordered "supersoil" and the dump truck just backed in and dumped the soil to fill the garden bed. It's the perfect size to just start out with organic vegetable growing for me since I am new to this. It's attractive and all my friends want to admire it as well as the neighbors. Thank you for a great product. May 15, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by easy to construct Nice cedar wood sides, wish the corners were stronger or maybe metal or wood instead of plastic. May 27, 2014
