Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a find!!! As promised, this product was very easy to install. Purchased due to ease of use, longevity of product and overall appearance. Were not disappointed at all. We purchased 64 ft. of the same product as well as 2 tree rings and are extremely satisfied. Delivery was also very prompt. Neighbors are taking lots of looks and asking questions about the product and where we got it. Thanks for carrying it. October 19, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick and Easy Installation I bought this product as edging. The instructions were easy to follow and the parts (using an electric screwdriver) were easy to assemble. I am going to order more to edge the rest of my yards. October 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A Less Than Satisfying Experience, But It Works The kit was complete with no extra parts to raise self-doubt when finished assembling it. That’s the good news. The plastic and wood composite boards look more like plastic than wood. That was disappointing but perhaps my expectations were unrealistic. Since I was linking the boards together to form a box frame rather than using them as straight-line edging, I wish I hadn’t followed the instruction to alternate the positioning of the anchor joint wings with one up and one down on each board. Final assembly would have been so much easier if I had positioned them both up on two boards and both down on two boards. The most frustrating and time consuming part of the kit, believe it or not, was removing the labels from the individual composite boards. Two of the four peeled right off with no problem but the other two required multiple applications of Goo Gone and lots of scraping with a putty knife. This left scratches where the labels had been, of course, and this didn’t make me any happier with the product after an hour of spraying and scraping. In the end the product functions as promised, though I might have rated it higher if it hadn’t been for those stubborn labels. In the future, I’ll probably just purchase the anchor joints and stacking joints separately and use real wood instead of the composite boards. The composite ones may last longer but they look a lot cheaper than they cost. The single advantage I can see is that the composite boards can be used near plants providing edible produce where pressure-treated lumber should be avoided. June 23, 2008
