We purchased this product at a sale price and at the price paid I feel it was a good value. The kit is easily assembled if you look at the photo of how to connect the connectors to the runners. There are no metal parts to rust other than the screws, so that is a plus. I do believe there is a design flaw; the screws that hold the connectors to the runners strip very easily when screwed into the plastic runners. A bolt that went all the way through and had a nut on the other side would have been much more effective. Having said that, once the unit is in place and filled with dirt, it is not likely that it will move. Bottom line, I like real wood and it would appear to be a much better value, however wood would rot, and not last near as long as this product, which I guess is the point.

Seems a little expensive for something made entirely of plastic. They do look sharp however, be prepared to work hard to get these company labels off each board for some reason they have put 9" labels that wrap around 3 sides of each timber. They are 2 part labels and i found the easiest way to get them off is soak them in hot water until they soften then peel off the clear top part, soak in hot water again and then you will be able to get the remaining paper and adhesive off using a sponge that has an abrasive side.Like i said it's a lot of work.

My husband wanted to redo the vegetable garden because the railroad ties that he had used before were rotting.
We saw these on line and decided to order them.
He put them in last weekend and they are just
so beautiful. Very nice and sturdy and really improve
the whole back yard.
We got two sets and think we will be ordering more for the flower gardens when he replants them.
Took him longer to take apart the old ties then it did to put these together,

I’ve purchased several of these kits and will continue to do so until I replace all my wood framed beds. The setup is easy - just takes a hammer and screwdriver (turn the torque down if you use an electric one!). The cedar toned planks have different wood grain patterns which enhances their appearance close up. Although they are a bit on the expensive side, I don’t anticipate having to replace them.
I would definitely recommend these to family and friends

Comes boxed in sets of 4 x 4 FT, 6" high 'boards'. So ordering an 8' x 8' square, 12" high wall gets you 4 boxes of 4 boards with the necessary parts to either use them as 6" high, or stack them for a 12" high wall. Very cool as you can create just about any shape you want, the boards hinge at their ends, so square, hex, octagon, whatever shape you want to make by linking 4' boards.
Assembly is quick and only requires a phillips screwdriver with short screws.

The boxes came pretty beat up and I was worried that their would be damage to the composite boards. Everything held up well though.
I was able to put the garden boarder up, including doing some digging to level everything out and making sure everything was square in less than 1.5 hours. It seems pretty sturdy and looks like it will hold up well over the test of time. Very simple and intuitive instructions.

I am just a beginner of gardening (but my wife's mother is home gardening pro. I just rely on her). But I did not start gardening for while because of this reason. How we can 'start', I just finished installing this kit and this is very easy, compared with my friend just made from wood. My only concern is UV light might cause board venting. I will figure out. In my opinion for first look, I will recommend to my friend.
