Should be able to if there is adequate support for mounting behind the skin. Otherwise you might have to bolt all the way through the wall with backing inside.

Answer:
Yes, as long as there is sufficient framework to bolt the handle to. A full-size 2x4 framework beneath the surface is quite adequate to support the handle mount.

Answer:
Absolutely, measure the area to better determine the length of grab bar that you can fit. Depending upon your actual area, a vertical (Up & Down) installation would probably be best. Remember proper mounting screws / hardware to insure a solid, safe and secure mounting is essential for safety.

The installation instructions are provided with the grab bar when you purchase it. You select the place where you wish to install the bar. If ADA placement is desired this is available on the Internet. I used the glass bit to drill through the tile using a bit of oil to keep the bit cool. I used a wood drill bit to drill into the wood support.

Yes,If you have a way of mounting the grab bar it could be used to get up the last step above the railing. It might be easier to mount a piece of fence top rail as the flanges on the grab bar are fixed in place and probably not at the ideal angle to mount on the mobile home. The angle on the top rail connectors available at the Home Depot are at a better angle. Read Less

While the bars are Stainlees Steel they are not tested in outside conditions and harsh weather could shorten the life of the Grab Bar.

A number of 2-1/2" wood screws are provided in the package. If you can find a stud in the desired location, you should be able to safely mount the grab bar in a vertical fashion with the provided screws. If the bar is to be mounted horizontally, however, I would recommend a 16" or 24" long grab bar to match the stud spacing on your wall. You can locate the studs with an inexpensive stud finder.

There are also toggle bolts provided for mounting the bar to a tiled surface but I'd recommend using screws into the underlying studs into as many opportunities as possible. Toggle bolts are as reliable as the tile or plaster work (a screw into a stud is the safest solution). Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfacción completa Excelent product higher recommend, easy clean, easy to use June 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not well made The bends on the ends of the grab bar are too gradual, not allowing the flange covers to slide into place after the bar is mounted. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and smooth! I like the shorter ones, but most stores don't carry them, that's why I order them on line. They serve the purpose and don't take up as much room. December 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Purchased for exercise purposes. I bought these to mount vertically to a post ~ one up high, one down low and one in between, to loop versa tubes (like exercise bands) through them for exercising. I needed something that would not stress the bands and these works great. I wished they had 6" ones but these were the smallest ones I could find for cheap. They are great quality and very sturdy and work very well. 4 stars only because I wanted smaller ones and they were not to be found. Anywhere. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just exactly what I needed These are perfect for the area I needed to place them. The installation was easy and they are very sturdy. The only thing I would do different is get some longer bars, I can do that any time. Thanks! June 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great For Safety I purchased this 12" grab bar as an adjunct to a larger bar used for taking showers. ( can be seen in the photo) This 12" bar is useful if there would be a problem rising when taking a bath. Drilling through the tile was easy using a 1/4" glass drill bit. The only problem I had was because of the thickness of the tile and the wall board my standard drill bit was not long enough for the long screws supplied. Once attached the bar is very sturdy and attractive. It is a worthwhile addition if one is lying down taking a bath or for a small child. December 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Grab Bar Very nice little grab bar at excellent price...... December 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what he wanted!! My husband needed another grab bar in the bathroom and had very specific ideas of what he wanted and would not take anything less. The customer service rep handled him very kindly . We had to order it as the local store did not have the size he wanted. Didn't take long to receive it and Tom is a very happy camper!!!
