Can doors be installed using only the bottom and side frames? With only one towel rod on the outside of the door, is there a nob or indentation for opening the door from inside the tub?
Asked by: Gabraves
Absolutely no. You need top frame in place to hold doors

Does this product and ones like it have to screw into wall at the ends? Will it work with those fiberglass tub/shower combo thingies that would have fiberglass around the entire opening?

how does the water seep out of the bottom frame into the tub? with tiny slots along the track or a slanted track?
Asked by: lorna
it has a slanted track with only a very small flimsy plastic piece of track in the center of the bottom track to guide the doors.

It's a very nice glass door, easy assembly,I am not professional, only used 3 hrs to complete the installation, simple tools needed:drill and masonry drill bit, measuring tap, silicone and gun, grinder, screw driver.i think the most challenge part was to figure out the length of the bottom bar and cut it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good door for the price, will buy again Excellent for the price. Far superior to all the others at a lower price. Reasonably thick glass and metal. Feels substantial when hung rather than flimsy. Instructions vague on one step but the picture clears it up. Well packaged, no damage to the unit when opened. Claims to be able to offset a bit of slope, but I highly recommend getting the mounting surface close to level using a shim. Vinyl brickmold can be used to create a 60 inch waterproof, white, shim if needed. I will buy this unit again for rental properties or for any standard bathroom application. It is NOT a 500 dollar designer door, but it was the best deal I could find at the price for something that was not cheap feeling.

Took my time and was rewarded in the end. Only glitch I had was, I used 3/16 tile drill bit and hole was not big enough to accept inserts they supplied. Parts were packaged very efficiently.
