CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great right out of the box. Bought it to install 1100 sq ft of flooring in a new house, and only jammed twice. All you have to do is oil it and keep adding staples and it will work all day. January 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid, capable tool I should preface this by saying this is the only floor nailer I've ever used, so I can't really make an informed comparison, but I can say that it worked great for installing about 350 square feet of pre-finished 3/4 in x 2 1/4 in solid oak floors. I used two boxes (2,000 nails) of Bostich 2" L-cleats and didn't have any issues or misfires over 4 days of use. Sliding the nailer around during installation did not scratch the finish of my new floors at all. The only problems were occasional user error by me not squarely striking the plunger, which results in nails that aren't all the way in. But again, that's user error. I used my 16-gauge finish nailer for the first few rows near the wall where the Freeman doesn't fit, and the Freeman does a much better job securing the floor. It was absolutely worth the money. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very satisfied This floornailer has worked surprisingly well for its low cost.Ii was able to lay 800 square feet of 1 1/2 in. oak flooring with no jambs (except for when I hit a screw in the subfloor). I would recommend this product to any body installing 3/4 inch hardwood. I cannot see the need to purchase the competitor's high price model. excellent tool!!!!! February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase for DIY I am installing hardwood flooring in three bedrooms and a hallway. The cost of renting a nailer is $35-$40 dollars a day, it made sense to purchase this nailer. After reading reviews here and on Amazon, I decided to decided on this model. I am about half way through with my project and the nailer has not misfired once. The nailer is very easy to load and use. I am using Bostitch 2" L cleats. Love the case, many more expensive nailers do not come with one. I am very happy with my purchase. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Worth The $$$$$$ Needed to install 3/4 inch oak distressed flooring. Couldn't make up my mind to rent a gun or buy one. Most guns I looked at were between the $4oo and $500 range. I decided to look online and came across this kit at my local HD. Read the reviews which were favorable and the price was really reasonable for a flooring nailer. So I took the plunge and bought it. Let me tell you. This thing worked flawlessly from start to finish. Not one misfire or problem with this gun. Seems very well made out of quality parts. And with a 7 year warranty how could I go wrong. Set my compressor at 100 PSI and every staple was driven in PERFECTLY. I own a lot of quality tools and none have impressed me as much as this nailer. Freeman knocked it out of the park with this tool. Where do you find this quality at this price anymore? I have never wrote a tool review before because you get what you pay for and it's no big deal. But this gun at this price point, I figured if helped some other guy in my situation why not. So men if you need a good tool without breaking the bank. THIS IS THE ONE. October 23, 2013
