Answer:
The mini palm nailer does not 'shoot' nails in the typical sense, it basically drives nails, one at a time. So yes, you put one nail at a time in the magnetic tip of the nailer, which will hold the nail for you, then apply slight pressure nd let the nailer do the work for you.

Answer:
Palm nailers load are loaded one nail at a time. They are not a rapid fire tool, but are instead used where a collated nail tool is not applicable, such as joist hanger nailing. This will not be your most chersihed tool, but they are a godsend when you are nailing in tight spaces.

Answer:
The Mini Palm nailer will not work with a roofing nail. The head is too large. It will however work with any common framing nail 6D to 16D.

Mini-Palm Nailer is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tool! Grab a simple pair of earplugs, this tool and your air compressor and you will wonder why you ever used a hammer! This drives nails in with such ease and with no bent nails! I had a 1 1/2 year old sleeping in the next room and he was still asleep when we got finished. We are using it to nail furring strips onto the ceiling with 8penny nails. I was not looking forward to driving a hammer over my head- but this little tool is lightweight to pass between my husband and I during the job and efficient enough that we finished off a whole box of nails in just a few minutes! How I WISH I had known about this too sooner! (we are using a 6 gallon husky air compressor)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Palm Nailer Put it to use as soon as it arrived. Worked flawless and I wonder why I had never bothered using one of these Palm Nailers guess as you get older and trying to nail in tight spaces the hand eye coordination is not there. Appears well built and solid. Don't second this lil tool go ahead and get your next job nailing in tight spaces done quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little nailer Purchased this nailer to retrofit an old house with hurricane rafter brackets. Many of these brackets had to be added in areas with limited space with little or no room to swing a hammer. With 10 + nails for each bracket, this little nailer worked flawlessly. Great addition to the tool collection at a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic tool, it paid for itself in the first hour! small enough to get into tight spots, but tough enough to drive 16s' all day long. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super tool I built a garage in Norfolk, Virginia, where the local building code requires the use of 'hurricane clips' (like the Simpson Strong-Tie Z-Max) to join rafters to the top plate of the wall. I had no problem nailing the clips to 34 of the 36 rafters, but the last two had only 5.25" clear space between them -- so using a hammer or nail gun was out of the question. I got this tool to put the last ten nails (of over 500) in the last two clips, and it worked great. I was using Simpson 1.5" 10d nails used for joist hangers, and I just had room to put the nail on the magnetic holder of the tool, and ease it into place. The tool has no 'on-off' switch, but starts operating when a bit of pressure is applied to the nail head. The tool drove those short nails in less than a second. I wish now that I had had this tool and used it to install the other 500 nails -- it would have been a real time saver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This nailer is ergonomically comfortable and powerful enough for any job! Could not believe the quality of this palm nailer given its low price. Fits into small spaces where my bigger nailer won't. So far it has been very reliable with no misfires or bent nails. 2 drops of oil per every 100 nails keeps her running tip top!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I used it to build a deck. Easy to use and did a great job. Very easy to use. Sure beats using a hammer. Can be operated single handed. Great, useful tool.
