Answer:
Those particular Bostitch nails will not work in the Freeman PCN65 Siding nailer. The nails need to be a minimum of .090" up to .113". The Bostitch C6R90BDG 2-by-0.090-Inch Thickcoat Ring Shank, for example, will work just fine.

Thanks for you interest in Freeman tools. Unfortunately, framing nails will not work in this coil nailer. You must use 15 degree plastic or wire collated siding nails. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Siding Nailer for the Money This is my 2nd Freeman nailer. It's dependable and affordable. I use this nailer for fences, hardi-plank siding, T1-11 siding, and other various outside remodels. I have yet to experience a misfire or misfeed. August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great gun did the job perfectly. Great gun did the job perfectly. I used it to apply siding on my new house additions and had no problems with it. January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price It's not a high end nailer but I'm siding my house myself & this was the perfect fit. I won't be using it all the time, so I was looking for something not overly pricy but a tool that was going to work. It's consistent & light weight. No misfires except the occasional double pump of the operator. So for the DIY'er, it's perfect, in my opinion. July 26, 2016
