Yes, it does. The PFR2190 has a no mar tip that is removable, tool free, to expose the claw tip that will grab the wood when toe nailing.

The nailer is suppose to hold 55 nails. I am not sure how many nails are in a clip of 3 1/2 inch nails.

Answer:
The Freeman PFR2190 Framing nailer will hold a maximum of 55 pieces of full round head framing nails. This leaves enough room for typically two strips of framing nails from most nail manufacturers.

Customer Reviews

Pneumatic 3-1/2 in. 21 Degree Full-Head Strip Framing Nailer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Light duty. Don't last. I am a home improvement contractor. Purchased first nail gun in December 2015. The gun survived a few fence jobs, some small framing projects and a bit of siding work. In February 2016 the magnesium body of the gun just broke while we were doing roof trim. The replacement gun did a couple of small fences and on 2-days long siding job. After that siding job it stopped to shoot nails. The tool comes with 7 years warranty. However, I was advised that this gun needs new O-ring replacement kit and it is not a defective gun, but rather wear and tear. So, if this gun is good for 2-3 jobs and after that you have to replace parts in it..... Do you want to buy this tool again?!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product has good value for the money. I am a home owner and used this nail gun to replace a outdoor deck and it did a good job. The cons, the gun sometimes jams when you are down to the last few nails but the jams are easy to clear. Also the spring locking bolt sometimes does not stay locked which is also is a easy fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't believe this was made in China ... But I knew it was just a matter of time until Chinese manufacturers can match North American quality. That time has arrived. This is one fine example of a good quality nailer that works like it was made in America but at a fraction of the cost. The nailer works as expected just make sure you reload before it runs out completely to avoid jams. Other nailers have a warning system. It is also pretty heavy so you will get tired quickly but quality tools are usually heavier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for DIY I used the Air Nailer for the first time right out of the box and it was easy to use no jams and works great. I don't know why I did not purchase one sooner.
