Customer Reviews

Freesia 35.5 in. x 35.5 in. x 72 in. Shower Stall in White-DISCONTINUED is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Base cracks and leaks after 2 years The base on this product cracked and leaked after less than two years. It looks beautiful and fits incredibly well in the space we have for it. Unfortunately the materials are junk. I agree with the other reviewers - save your money. This is a defective product... I will see what the manufacturer does about the cracked base - supposedly has a 3 year warranty. However, it looks like I'll have to tear the wall panels out to replace the base, as they overlap the base per the installation instructions... A big job to unnecessarily redo...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Overall this unit is fairly cheaply built, and I would not install it in a location that would receive heavy use and expect it to last more than a couple years. I'm not a fan of using high density foam as a shower pan support.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very cheaply constructed The design was exactly what I was looking for. However I didn't realize the base included high density foam as a structural support until I opened it. The panels, which were very flimsy, had been damaged in shipping so I returned the unit for a refund. Disappointed in product, but satisfied with Home Depot customer service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Instructions and measurements off. Drain instructions say it should be 7 3/4" from each corner--it is not. Inside corner of the pan (the only square one) is not a right angle. It's about 5 degrees off. I understand this is a budget product, but a third-grader can make a square corner without trying very hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product fit my needs and my budget Due to the space constraints I didn't have the room for a shower with a door. This shower fit in the overly small bathroom i have. The install and instructions aren't that bad either. i recommend reading them over and over until you start to get the idea and also do not hesitate to ask an in store associate who knows plumbing for assistance. the most dreaded part of my install was chipping the concrete floor to relocate my drain since it was installed in the wrong location. I used self leveling concrete to restore the flat surface, then used moisture resistance drywall for the shower backer. nailing the pan to the wall you need nails closer to 1" or 1.25". adhering the panels to the wall i used the 15min drying liquid nails caulking. if this is your first shower project do not use the fast drying caulk. Also buy an extra nut, bolt, and washers of the same size when bolting the two panels together. there's a space right in the middle that you'll need to drill a hole through to insert the bolt. this will help prevent leaks even though the instructions don't call for it. lastly be sure to purchase white silicone for sealing the shower and base. i accidentally bought clear and it's turned a slight green. I wrote this extensive review because i believe this shower deserves something more thorough. The problem with reviews is they're based on instant gratification. you never know the user/installers level of skill, if that person knew what they were doing, and were competent in using/installing the product correctly. That being said the shower so far has worked perfect for my needs so far. If i have issues i will update my review.
