Heavy duty screen that was easy to install I didn't use it for my garage but I used it on my back patio in our rental house does what it should as in it keeps the bugs out. We go outside often to smoke because we do not some in our home so we needed it at night to keep the bugs out and it has been a great investment.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HeronHouse From Garage to Dining Hall in seconds!
My family is getting bigger all the time - now, a gathering of kids, their spouses, and grandkids is 35+ people. By utilizing our cleaned-up garage as the dining hall/"family room" - we can still be together at our lake house; plus spills and wet kids in bathing suits aren't a problem in a garage!
This Fresh Air Screen installs in under a minute, once the Velcro strip is attached to the door frame. It lets soft breezes in and keeps the harsh sun (and bugs!) out. We needed an 8' tall x 16' wide screen - Home Depot had the best price by far!! The screen is nice and heavy - a few dogs had to bonk into it before they understood that the open garage door was now a "wall". If someone ran into it hard enough, I think it would tear away from the Velcro before the screen would rip?
Putting the Velcro attachment strip up was easy - it's self-adhesive; but the installation directions advise to add roofing nails every 12 to 18". Since this will be exposed to harsh sun and weather, I won't be surprised if it gets brittle with age - but Velcro is easy to replace. With our occasional use, I suspect the screen portion will last forever
We opted for the single zipper, since we don't plan to leave this up all the time. The zipper is heavy duty and works smoothly as the "door". The one thing I would caution: the screen seems almost invisible when looking from the inside to the outside - I placed chairs strategically, directing people towards the clearly-visible zipper. When the party was over and the screen removed, it folded up easily for storage.
Several neighbors stopped by to see how it worked, since large gatherings at a lake home are not uncommon - I think Home Depot will be getting many more orders! I'm just crazy-happy with this product!!

This is the 3rd screen I have installed on my Garage Door. It is the 1st one I have purchased from Home Depot. 2 people installed it in half hour. Can also unzip the zipper pull the screen back towards the outside of the garage and drive car out. This was an excellent choice

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dogface Great screen for garage door
I wish I would have purchased this screen sooner. I have always used the cheaper screens in the past but this is in a completely different league, very heavy duty. and zipper down middle. I would suggest using a few staples along with the sticky back velcro in the installation. Also I used 1/2 inch conduit in the bottom slots. I would give it a five star rating if I knew its longevity.

I couldn't be more surprised at the durability and functionality of this product. I have 3 garage doors and was so impressed with it that I bought two more to cover all of the doors.

I am very happy with the product, it has good quality, the installation was really easy with no tools needed and at a very reasonable price, survived a severe thunderstorm with plenty of rain, I highly recommend this product.

This is the second garage door screen I have had, the first was a cheap $30.00 screen that tore up in a couple months. This screen is very well made, strong and durable. The bottom (wich is what tore on the other screen) is very thick. The zipper is dual sidded, so you can zip it up while in the garage, keeping out bugs and insects.
