The screen size should match the size of the garage door opening from outside, right? I mean, since the opening is 16X7, I should buy a 16X7 screen, and not something a little larger for installation needs, like 16X8 (I see that have that).
Asked by: Tim
the size of the door must be the same has the screen

PVC insert at bottom

I'd like to know if theres an insert pouch or sewn-in pvc pipe to weigh down the screen.
Asked by: Dean
Anything to weigh down the screen will be bought by you outside of this screen door. It does come with a pouch sewn in, and they suggest 3/4 inch plastic conduit to help weigh it down. BTW, pick up some 5/8" roofing nails as well -- not necessary, but will help with the velcro connections, unless you want to take this down regularly instead of using the ropes.

Seperate pulls for each side?

I can not tell if this has separate pulls if you want to pull up one side and not the other? Does it..... or does the pull only pull up the whole screen?
Asked by: LFaulkner
Yes, each side has seperate pulls.

I used the finishing/ roofing nails to hold down the hook and loop fastener as i fully expect the glue to degrade over time. The one thing about this that i wish was better was the rolling up feature when you need it out of the way to drive the car in/ out of the garage. It rarely rolls up into a compact cylinder shape, and that can look pretty unsightly . But overall it does what i needed - keeps bugs and leaves out, and as an added bonus, the mesh is dark enough to serve as a semi-privacy screen when it is being used.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit perfect Exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, strong netting and seams. Added a few screws to secure the Velcro strip better. But overall very nice product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Self adhesive velcro strips I bought the garage door screen earier this summer. The screen itself seems durable. I think the velcro self adhsive strips that hold it to the door frame should be a heavier duty. Over the summer with the heat, water and dust the self adhesive stripping has worked its self lose at each side of the bottom of the door way. There has to be a better way to attach to the door frame.
