Can you order parts?

This question is from 11.5 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel, ENERGY STAR
June 9, 2016
For example, I notice that the glass shelves are not listed as "tempered," to provide greater strength. If something were to drop on those shelves, it looks like they would shatter, so I would want to be able to order replacement shelves.

Customer Reviews

11.5 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel, ENERGY STAR is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small Upright Refrigerator Purchased the refrigerator due to it's size. It is an energy efficient model which qualified for a rebate and free haul away of the previous model from my local electric company. Great feature. I am aware that the demand for this size refrigerator is relatively small, therefore the cost is higher than should be expected. This model was a good value compared to other models, and was the largest in it's size range. The wire freezer shelf is weak. With just a few items on the shelf it begins to sag. Easy fix with a piece of plywood, which I doubt most people would do. And no it can't be fixed by moving a shelf form the refrigerator to the freezer, due to different shelf sizes. Overall a good but not great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Refrigerator I need a refrigerator for an off the grid home. The first one I bought from GE used more then twice the electricity it was rated for. When I tested this one, it was at just over 218 kwh yr; well below it's 311 rating.

Then unit started getting very noisy and frost built up rapidly in freezer. Frigidaire sent repairman who came 2 weeks after the day Frigidaire said he would be here. He told us the problem was that we had put the fridge in an enclosed back porch where the temperature had dropped to 48 degrees two nights in a row. Manual says nothing about this being a problem. He told us to move the fridge inside, which we did. He also said that the unit would fail if it were somewhere where the temperature exceeded 85 degrees, which is a concern since much of the summer is above 85. The "repairman" then used a steamer to clean out the frost and to melt all the ice that had formed around the fan, in the freezer air diverter, and in the air channel to the refrigerator box. He put the unit back together, turned it on and left. It seemed to run ok, but in less than 48 hours started getting very loud again and the frost started building up. We called the repairman because it seemed to us that he had relieved the symptoms, but had not fixed the problem. He told us that we would have to pay $75 an hour, including travel time, for another call because the problem was our fault. We do not feel this was correct or appropriate to the situation. We are returning the unit and buying another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a dud. We purchased this refrigerator a year ago and this is the second time the motor died. The first time, it was a hassle trying to contact the company to get it repaired. Lived for almost two weeks without a refrigerator before it got fixed. That was about 6 months ago. Now it's dead again. Very timely too, since my husband is home three days post-op from a total hip replacement. Extremely disappointed.

It is a nice looking fridge & haven't had any problems with the coolong & freezing. It is very quiet. The main door is light weight & needs to have things in it so it will close properly. Home Depot had to come back out & adjust the front feet so it would close. Found that to be a hassle dealing with them to come back out. Also, the bottom drawers are a clear hard plastic & just sit in the bottom of the fridge with no real rail system for pulling in & out. Nice glass shevles in fridge & wire rack in freezer. Plenty of space in both doors. Main door will hold a half gallon container, probably not a gallon. Price was right & would probably buy again. Home Depot put an automatic charge for ice maker hose on my order & this fridge has no ice maker capability. Again, had to call customer sevice to get the charge off. Home Depot's customer service department is a hassle with long waits on hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! This fridge is perfect for the tiny kitchen in our historic home. The microwave fits right on top and we are having our carpenter build in a cabinet above. It works well and has plenty of storage for 2 people. We use plastic tubs inside to organize our condiments, etc. Love it.

The other day it started making a funny noise. Now it is 55 degrees in the refrigerator and the food in the freezer is frosty not frozen. It only had a one year limited warranty. Also, the door has to be guided all the way shut as it doesn't shut tight unless you make an effort. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Watch the width Nice little frig, but be aware if you're going to put it in right next to a wall -- it's only 24 inches wide, but you need 25 or 26 to get the door to fully open.
