19.5 in. 35-Bottle Wine Cooler is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from It once worked Purchased the wine fridge due to good price. It iced up in the upper left hand corner but it was working and defrosting is no big deal. For the past few months the compressor has been turned off because the contents was empty. Moved it to another room and plugged it in. Compressor is hot, refrigerator is not working. Nothing suggested in the manual to do besides take off the door when I throw it away. It is unfortunate that refrigerators and similar items are so disposable because they are not made to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value but tricky to set temp high enough This cooler is the best value I've seen in low priced wine storage units. But there is a trick to setting temp higher. Turn knob to "cold" (lowest marked) setting. Allow cooler to stabilize (at least 4 hours empty). It will probably read 50 degrees. Then, turn unit to off. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then turn knob to "Cool" again. compressor will turn on. Back it down about 1/16 " (you will feel friction, but compressor will still be running). Wait overnight and see if temp has risen. If too much (say 60-65 degrees temp), repeat same procedure, not turning knob as far after activating compressor in "Cold" position. I know this sounds complicated, but once you hit the sweet spot, 55 degrees, it will remain there. Another recommendation: pre-cool wine in kitchen fridge for 45 min prior to adding to cooler and only add one or two bottles at a time, if possible. This will keep temp stable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No replacement parts If anything goes wrong no with this unit, you're buying a new wine cooler. You can't get parts for this. The tempered glass on my unit randomly *popped* one day... So I'm in the market for a new cooler

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wouldn't bother I liked the size and capacity of the cooler. However, I've returned 1 because it wouldn't allow any temperature variance over 50 degrees. Going to return the 2nd one because it won't allow any temperature over 52 degrees. Getting tired of taking products back. I expected better of this company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Design Do not buy this appliance if you value the contents that you will store in the product. Due to a design defect, the unit may not restart after a power failure. If you are not available to restart the unit manually, the interior temperature will soon return to room temperature potentially ruining the contents. If you contact Frigidaire regarding the failure of your product to restart, they will tell you that on page 7 of the user guide it states that ”To prolong the life of compressor, please wait for at least 5 minutes before the unit is restarted after power failure” I purchased this product since I travel frequently and wanted the ability to maintain a 85 degree thermostat setting at home while away. Upon return from a recent trip, I found that a power failure had caused the appliance to go dead. The contents of the cooler (wine, olive oil, chocolate) all spoiled!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does the work. I bought this several months ago and it seems to do the work. I am not a big fan of wine, but I needed to fill the dishwasher space up with something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value VERY quiet , great price, reversible door makes it more versatile. I do wish it had at least 2 flat shelves

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Cold I purchased two of these wine coolers and had to return both of them. This is a no frills appliance, and I purchased it with few expectation, but found the temperature to be unacceptable. The cooler is to operate between 41 and 64 degrees, but the best I could do with the first unit was 50 degrees on the top rack, and around 43 degrees on the bottom. I was able to reach 52 degrees on the top rack in the second unit, and 46 on the bottom. I turned it to its lowest setting to see how cold it would get, and I was able to reach down to 33 degrees. I took the time to level the unit, and waiting longer than the suggested 24 hours before plugging it in and turning it on. With the exception of the temperature, the unit operated just as advertised. It was quiet and I had little internal moisture. In fact, the humidity was too low to store wine in for extended periods of time, but that is to be expected in this type of unit. I have owned a Frigidaire model # LFWC18T6LB for nearly eight months and it performs very well for the price.
